Loved the location and the eating area. My friend and I shared the poutine, mushroom galaxy burger, copper burger deluxe, and... the chocolate zucchini brownie. I loved the flavors of the both burgers but almost couldn't eat the mushroom burger because ofthe texture (it reminded me of seafood), the beet burger was a little weird texture wise but again, tasted good. The browniewas dry and chalky and the only thing that saved it was the yummy frosting. Read more

First time there... Found it confusing how ordering and serving of food occurred and got very little guidance from staff. Then... the food ended up being awful. Greasy fries, sloppy, greasy sandwich.... Inedible Read more

The worst. Seriously angry after dropping $25 on a plate of cold/lukewarm fake food. The muffin was frozen. Meaning, of course,... everything is boxed, delivered frozen, and simply reheated. Even the bagel was gross. Avoid this corporate mess. Read more

My best friend and I were visiting Portland for the day and are avid Vegans, so we were eagerly looking for a new joint to try... out. The downtown location was clutch. Plenty of on street parking. From the moment we walked through the doors, the customerservice was superb! The cashier and other employees were super friendly and did an excellent job explaining their menu. Therestaurant was clean and had such a wonderful variety of options. I tried the Keto Protein bowl and it was delicious, particularly the tofu which was cooked and seasoned amazingly! Both of us will definitely be back soon, especially in thesummer as we?d love to try out their outdoor seating!! Read more

I discovered this place while visiting Maine and I went three times in the 4 days I was in Portland! I have a lot of dietary... restrictions and allergies and they were patient and helpful answering my questions. The breakfast skillet, black bean burger, frozen cappuccinos, and desserts were amazing (especially the zucchini brownie and smores cookie)! I will DEFINITELY be backnext time I am in Maine! Great stop in Portland if you?re looking for a hearty vegetarian meal. I had the Aztec bowl and ordered a side of baked fries... with garlic sauce. The food is perfectly seasoned and very filling. This photo is the mini version and I couldn?t finishit. Also, the location is central in the old port, perfect for people watching :-) Read more

I am gluten and egg free, so it is generally very difficult for me to find breakfast items. But this amazing restaurant... absolutely has the BEST and safest items for my dietary needs! We arrived a little bit before they opened, but the staff were sokind that they still made a sandwich for me!! Overall I would 100% recommend this to anyone with any dietary restrictions or whois vegan. The food was amazing! Read more

As a vegan tourist to Portland I was eager to try Copper Branch. I was profoundly disappointed with my experience there today.... First occurrence: masks. As a vaccinated individual I was accustomed to not wearing a mask anymore. The staff immediately on thedefense yelling at us to wear a mask. I was with my friend and my son. The staff told us they?d only give out one mask and theother two would have to wait outside to order. Masks are not expensive, I don?t understand why this place would not willinglygive out masks that THEY require for a rather expensive order for 3. After that, the staff continued with a rude and abrasiveattitude. One member specifically exhibited a superior attitude and the name of this worker was Destiny. Destiny asked for my IDfor a seltzer and proceeded to look at it back side and front side and she even bent it as if to test it?s authenticity. Theythen did not remember to ring me up for this seltzer and had harassed me to come back several times. I was at the registerwaiting to pay for it, even though it was THEIR mistake. They also made our to go order a stay order and just basically expectedus to accept it the way they made it. After their rude behavior we did not want them touching the food again. Other reviewerssay there are better LOCAL (not corporate) vegan restaurants in Portland. If I knew about them I would have gone there. The foodwas sub par. They were out of several things on the menu and offered no substitutions. When asked questions about the food theydidn?t have any information on what?s being served (like if an item has gluten or not). The kids meal was pathetic anddisgusting. Fries soggy and ?chicken? hardened. My child wouldn?t touch the kid?s meal - I?m sorry but what kind of kid wantsraw broccoli and shredded carrots? $8 meal straight in the trash. I wish I could get my money back for the horrible experiencethey put us through. -5 stars. Read more
