Forage Market has a very focused menu featuring bagels. The bagels are among the best I've ever had and are far superior to the... grocery store variety. You can order a variety of sandwiches and bagels and, I believe bread, online for pickup. They havesmartly separated walk in orders from pickup using separate entrances avoiding congestion. Read more

I drive from mechanic falls to south Portland almost everyday. This place is out of my way in Portland, but I make an effort to... go anyway because I really enjoyed there bagels. I just went today to order my usual. I get an everything bagel with creamcheese and bacon on it. I?ve been coming here for awhile now, just to be told they won?t put bacon on my bagel anymore. I feellike I?ve been supporting this place almost daily just to be told we don?t need or want your business anymore. It?s not an oddrequest and it?s very delicious. I am very very disappointed that I cant enjoy my favorite bagel anymore. They definitely caremore about the tourist than a local regular at this point. They told me this will be a permanent change. Delicious bagels! I loved the fennel seeds on the everything bagel--a really unique touch to the typical everything bagel.... Because of the natural yeast, it had a light sour dough flavor which was really nice. Picking up single bagels was super fast.Interesting place where it looked more like a warehouse where they made the bagels, but they had tables outside on a deck whereyou can enjoy your breakfast sandwich. amazing bagels! everything is done just right - great bagel:cream cheese ratio, amazing consistency and flavor. I also didn?t... get the icky feeling I sometimes get after devouring a bagel - likely a testament to them using really top notch ingredients. Myboyfriend got the bagel sand which with sea salt bagel, I got the everything with veggie. both fantastic! Read more
Takeout only. Which I don?t really have a problem with. The food tastes amazing, just like the Lewiston location. But it really... lacks some uniqueness and antique feeling that the Lewiston store front offers. Read more
Got the vegan breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel after reading some reviews here. It was absolutely delicious- so much so that... I'm only eating half so I can make two meals out of it and enjoy it again. Not sure how the vegan 'egg' is made but the flavoris great. The bagel also is really good; almost a sourdough bread taste to it and the perfect toast. Also got a chai latte whichwas great. Read more
I was really looking forward to a basic breakfast sandwich on a bagel with turkey. I felt uncomfortable because I didn't get... what I paid for. There weren?t any more bagels. I agreed to receive bread instead of the bagel, but I only received bread withan egg?! Read more
