My favorite donuts we tried in Portland. Also decided to try a pork roll, egg and cheese on a donut (because why not?!) And was... blown away. Sweet but not overwhelming, and nice and toasty squishy. Thought it'd be a one-and-done, but I'd definitely get itagain when I come back. Read more
The absolute best donuts I've ever had. We tried another popular location in the area (????) and were super disappointed. Hifi... has unique flavours as well as more expected ones, and they're all delicious. Seriously. Every donut we've had has been so good.They're fresh and well made, and the different bases all work. I came here once in 2019 on a trip to Maine...and it's been in my memories ever since! I love the variety of donuts here! They... had a savory bacon and cheddar donut that I was tempted to get but didn't ????. I did get a glazed donut with a chocolate crumbtopping ?. My partner got a blueberry pie donut and yes, I sampled it and we both thought it spectacular! The employees were sofriendly! Smiles and patience as I asked about the different flavors. After coming from Bar Harbor (a place you don't go to forthe customer service), it was a breath of fresh air coming to a shop where the staff doesn't make it obvious that you're more aninconvenience than a customer. Coffee also delicious! So glad I don't live in Portland because I know this would become a badhabit for me! Read more
I ordered the ricotta, roasted veggie and egg sandwich on ciabatta bread. The bread was delicious and had a great chewy texture.... The roasted vegetables include a couple tomatoes and some onions which were a great complement to the creamy ricotta. I wishthere were a few more roasted vegetables in the sandwich, but overall a very good vegetarian breakfast sandwich. They also hadtwo other vegetarian breakfast sandwiches that I considered ordering. The wall of donuts all looked incredible and I willcertainly stop by here again to get one or two of the more interesting flavors. Read more
We stopped in for our first visit today. When we arrived there was a good crowd, but it only took a few minutes to get through... the line. Let me tell you, it was worth the wait. The donuts were spectacular and the staff was incredible. Our daughter lovedthe vibe and the donut even more. Also, don't sleep on their orange juice. Honest to God, best donuts I've ever had!! I was in Portland for business and was able to stop here on my last day in the city,... and I was immediately taken aback at how I missed this before. These donuts were amazing when I got them fresh, and stillamazing when I had another one 5 hours later when I landed home and drove to my house. They were amazing for days after.
