If you are anywhere near this area you need to try the food here. We travelled all through Maine and this by far was our... favourite spot. So glad we found it. Both my wife and me are Italian and nothing really tastes like back home but themortadella sandwich and pizza here blew us away. Red wine is Sicilian and brilliant. EASILY one of the best pizzas in Portland. The dough is excellent- chewy and soft but thin and crispy where it counts. With... three base pizza options that can be customized with additional toppings, there are plenty of directions you can adventure. Radici was AWESOME! Their pizzas are the perfect size for one person. Their menu is small, but points to a super fresh selection... of things to get. Their pizza was melty and crispy all at the same time. Staff were friendly, attentive and quick, but notrushed. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Although we had no issues getting a seat (on a Sunday night), the smallrestaurant and delicious food could point to decent wait times! Great atmosphere, too! WILL BE BACK!!! Read more
I had been wanting to check out Radici for quite some time, and I have to say that it did not live up to the hype for me. The... best part of my experience was the customer service, our server was so friendly and helpful! The pizza was decent, but theoptions are extremely limited, and the pizzas are very small. They had very limited options for drinks as well. I spent $$$ ontwo small pizzas and one canned beer when I could have gone to Portland pie and spent much less on more food and drinks. Bonoboand Lazari have comparable styles of pizza, and I would suggest those spots over Radici. This spot just isn't for me. Read more
Excellent pizza and I don?t say that lightly. Now in my top two best pizza on the East Coast. Apart from the overall product,... their base sauce is delicious and they use quality ingredients for the toppings. I added mushrooms and olives to my Margarita.Olives a super-delicious green Castelvetrano and instead of standard, dull cremini/button mushrooms they use some smalldelicious ones which might be Shimeji or similar. Overall, absolutely superb food. And bonus points for having Chinottoavailable too! Read more
Utterly fantastic food! The Maialino pizza was a revelation, a perfect blend of sweet (caper honey) and savory (pork sausage).... Portland has a stunning variety of pizza-focused restaurants, but Radici stands head and shoulders above the pack. Read more
Found this place walking around town. Order two separate ?pieces? of Pizza. One tomato and ricotta the other with an amazing... Raghu sauce with lamb. Excellent all around. Great size, amazing fresh flavors including a tasty olive oil finish. Eat heresoon! Read more
