Been to this restaurant many many times, decided they deserve a review. As with all other reviews of this place, everything on... their menu is so good! All the pastas have lots of garlic which I love! My go to restaurant when visiting Portland Maine! Read more

I came here for some lobster. I went with the grilled lobster on linguine with butter and garlic. It was delicious, but had so... much butter and garlic I felt my arteries clogging. Great to try one time. Too expensive and buttery to try again. Service wasalright. I was sitting at the bar and it took forever for someone to notice me, while a man got help right when he sat down. First and foremost, reservations are important. I booked mine 3weeks out just to be on the safe side. Located down wharf street... this place was worth every penny. My friend and I had missed our last reservation and were glad to reschedule. Upon check in ourtable wasn't quite ready so we sat in a small waiting area and got a couple glasses of wine. Once our table was ready we wereseated and given bread for the table. For our appetizer, we split a bowl of the white bean soup, absolutely delicious. Forentrees my friend went with the lobster special and I opted for the clams and linguine. We got to watch our food being preparedparallel to us, it was great! Our food, absolutely worth the wait! Delicious, fresh, amazing, and this only begins to describeit! I highly recommend, you will not be disappointed. Read more

Loved my dinner with my husband when we visited Maine for the first time. The mussels in garlic wine sauce was my favorite... appetizer and is a large portion so definitely to be shared and definitely to have bread dipped into the sauce. My husband gotthe scallop dish and I got the Atlantic cod, both of which were perfect. Not the cheapest but worth the value. Definitely wouldcome back. Read more

My friend and I legitimately wandered into the restaurant with absolutely no idea what the name was. The entrance literally is... in a sketchy, abandoned alley way that you shouldn't walk down alone. They got us a walk-in table last minute and the wholeexperience was AMAZING. Staff was so friendly and very knowledgeable of the menu. Their menu differs daily evidently. Their menufocused on seafood, compared to their sister restaurant Fore Street Restaurant up the road from them, who focus on land meatsand veggies. (We ended up visiting that place the next night cuz why not). Pictured was their unique menu that night of a wholegrilled lobster on top of a bed of spaghetti and white garlic sauce, and my friend had gotten their scallops in a white winesauced spaghetti. Yes, they came served on a giant, sizzling skillet! And also pictured, a bottle of their Moscato we shared. Itwas the best, unexpected surprise of a restaurant experience EVER. It can be a fancy experience, or literal casual experience -they don't discriminate! Evident by us showing up looking raggedy for a "quick meal" ???? Read more
