Can't say enough of how fantastic our experience was. We were a table of four and ordered the Pri Frix with wine pairings. This... was my first experience and my friends second. Service was superb, attentive and not smothering. Food phenomenal. Great forexperiencing all of the menu items. Atmosphere was as casual or dressy for whatever reason your occastion dictated. Staff workedso well together. Everyone took a part to ensure not just our experience but everyone else in their establishment was treated asif we were the only table there. Emily, thank you so much! You were a gem, we loved our dining experience with you and yes, theice cream dessert was beyond explanation! Tell your Pastry Chef not to share that with Salt and Straw!! Read more
We've never tasted food this deliciously complex. The taste kept evolving as it was consumed with seasoning that supported and... enhanced the full flavor of each dish. The servers suggested wine that perfectly paired with the food. From appetizer to mainplate to desert, it was a full satisfying experience. We can't suggest a particular dish, since each was superb! Exceptional food, really surprised me as I was not expecting this level of attention to detail in both presentation and... flavor! The tartare with asparagus was incredible, and the duck very well cooked. Everyone else seemed to love their dishes aswell. Sat on the patio, so can’t comment on the inside, but the service was great still, and very fast considering! Also, Iwas dumb and got a beer, but the cocktails were also delicious, so I’d recommend trying one of those if you’re here too! Read more
food was good, portions were incredibly small, waiter was kinda cold. and they charged us $7 for sparkling water????and didn’t... tell us when they offered it that it wasn’t complementary. anyways me and my girlfriend spent $86 and had to go to burgervilleafter because we were still hungry. Delicious food, fantastic selection of wines, and service on point! My new favourite in Portland. Google maps takes you around... the block instead of stopping Infront of the restaurant. I would love to visit this place again. Read more

Everything we had was absolutely delicious and wonderfully prepared. Loved the unique wine selection. The service was very... attentive and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place to others. The dishes are just the right size to share between twopeople, so you can try a little bit of each dish. Good oysters, delicious snacks (gougers, unique and flavor bursting salad(burrata with roasted squash)... their pierogi with potatoes and charterelles, topped with truffles, was out of this world. Forthe main course, we decided not to share and got two different dishes, and both were wonderfully prepared. Read more
