The biscuits and gravy are the best I've ever had. They do takeout orders when it's slow but nothing beats going in person and... joking around with the friendly staff while you eat some of the best breakfast/brunch you've ever had. My partner and I havebeen here a dozen times and they have always been consistent. The walls are spralled with local art that is for sale, the dripcoffee is flavorful and bold, everything I've tried here is amazing (though the Quiche is always sold out by the time I getthere). Those biscuits and gravy--by the way--box and keep really well and taste just as good heated up later as they dofresh. Do yourself a favor and stop by to find out for yourself. Read more

I'm from Portland but haven't lived there in years. I visited to see family and wanted to treat my girlfriend to a nice... breakfast. This cafe wad perfect and a perfect encapsulation of what the Portland Vibe was when I lived there in the early2000s. Pineapple coffee cake was amazing! Read more

Both times I've been I have loved it. The portions are more than reasonable and so filling. The biscuits and gravy just hit the... spot so well as has everything else I've tried. Although I've only been twice, I've been able to try a few things via those atthe table with me and it was all delicious. Read more

Surpassed my expectations. Such a cute little place. We went at 1030a on a Tuesday and no wait. The service was great! The... server was fast, helpful, attentive and very welcoming. I never had to ask for any items. They just provided it all! Even theBOH was friendly. The food was terrific and fresh. They offered home made - spiced raspberry jam with bourbon and a homemadeketchup. That is what ketchup is SUPPOSED to taste like? I'm never buying store bottled again. Looking forward to going forweekend brunch which has bonus options! Read more

The most satisfying, wholesome breakfasts you'll find in Portland. Cozy setup with local art on the walls (bought "No Working... During Drinking Hours"). Plenty of nearby street parking. It's pretty far out on the southeast side, and can get crowded due topopularity, but it's still a better deal than any of the top spots around downtown. Read more
