One of the best places to have fresh sushi and great sake! Ambiance was so cool that you wanna spent more time there. Fish were... so fresh and tender and sushi’s rice well cooked but little salty! Also we had a really nice and delicious sake. I give them4.5 ?? Read more

This place used to be a bit smaller but as it has grown it has maintained excellent quality. I guess it’s now sort of a chain?... It has urban vibes and I think they know they’ve gotten popular so you’re losing some of that small town restaurant feel ithad say 10 years back… but the fish is excellent and while you’ll pay a heavy price, it’s not hard to feel full for areasonable final ticket in the $30-40 per person range. We had omakase and spent more, but it was good pacing for a little bitof good food; flavors consistent and overall quite nice. BUT we may have supplemented with even more rolls though afterward…it just wasn’t enough food otherwise, we decided. And we weren’t being piggy. Read more

Bryce was a FANTASTIC bartender. He gave us some great recommendations and was amazing throughout happy hour! The nigiri was... 10000/10 and would absolutely recommend. Read more

My first ever sushi. I was neglecting sushi because I was thinking it would taste fishy but it wasn’t its less fish and more... rice. Their soy sauce is much stronger and tastes better with the pickled ginger. First sushi done ???????? Read more

Incredibly overrated sushi place. It was my first time going and maybe they had an off night because of the impending snow, but... all the food was unremarkable. Everything seemed dull and uninspiring. We ordered a wagyu burger, circle of life roll, and greenmachine roll (not pictured) Fortunately we got the aiolis on the side because they were pretty bad; this is coming from an aiolifiend. The onion rings were soggy, not fully cooked, and only came with two. The pricing wasn’t bad but still not worth thequality. Read more

Good, but not a ton better than a more affordable sushi place right around the corner. King salmon nigiri - $9 for two pieces.... This one was very good. California roll - Junior said it was good, but the other place has fish eggs on the outside of the CArolls. Spicy tuna - nothing too exciting. All in all, not appreciably better enough to justify the more expensive price. 4.5stars Read more

The cauliflower was fantastic. The chicken karaage was very good: more meaty. We squeezed a couple extra lemons onto the chicken... and enjoyed that. The spicy salmon and spicy something sushi was good. I think what made the sushi stand out is knowing it’scoming from sustainable sources, which is not something most sushi restaurants consider. We got here during happy hour and thewhole thing was very affordable and delicious. Best sushi place I’ve been to in Portland. Read more

Very nice ambiance. Excellent sushi. The bowls are generous and delicious. The tofu bowl was a bit charred IMO. Didn’t... like it. But the others were great. Read more
