I absolutely love this place. I’ve been twice so far. Once for brunch and it was divine and once for lunch and it was amazing.... It’s funny because my breakfast was just the usual eggs/bacon/potatoes breakfast that one would order at any restaurant buthere, the flavors were ????????????. Avocado toast: best I’ve had ever. The watermelon salad: yum. The olive cake: Yum. I haveloved everything I have had here. They know flavor. Highly recommend this place. Yum yum yum! Read more

My friend and I ventured into Bar West for the first time yesterday, lured by the Portland Dining Month menu. Each course was... composed very thoughtfully, with attention to the balances of flavors and textures. Our server was genuinely interested inknowing what we thought and took our feedback after each course. We left full and happy. I'm not often on that side of townearly enough, but I'll likely return to sample their happy hour, which runs 4-6 pm daily. Read more

Cozy and intimate space offering strong cocktails and flavorful food. Bar West is a nice alternative to hunting for somewhere to... go off of NW 23rd. I was sat right away at 6:30pm and the service was excellent. The wild king salmon dish had crispy skin andwas cooked perfectly. Read more

Absolutely loved this spot. It was a bit busy on a Thursday night but my husband and I got seats at the bar and had a fantastic... experience. The bartender was kind and attentive! We loved the sazerac she made, as well as the non-alcoholic shrub cocktail.I’m gluten-free and we were thrilled to find that most of the menu can be made without gluten! We enjoyed the friend chicken,shrimp pasta, and a truffle mushroom Brie pizza, all gluten free! Such a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be coming back. Read more
