Wonderful experience eating here tonight. The owners are super sweet, and there seemed to be many regular customers dining,... which is always a good sign. Lovely ambiance and great menu. Food was served pretty promptly and was delicious. They served usexactly the right amount of everything, we left stuffed! I also recommend the tea with cinnamon, cardamon and cloves. Really,the best part besides the food, was how nice the host/hostess (I assume are the owners) are. We will be eating here again soon! Read more

Bete-Lukas is a special place for me; it was one of the first meal I had in Portland and it makes me so happy to know they are... still here. They offer delicious comfort food that I can comfortably order whatever I want without Celiac's restricting myoptions, given to you by a man who has led this restaurant honestly and with a warm heart over the years. I have neverexperienced a flavor quite like the one they achieve with their Asa Goulash (the fish!) I highly recommend this place, as wellas the food here.
