The Blue Diamond is a great little Portland spot. Their shows highlight stellar area musicians, and the intimate, family-like... atmosphere allows you to feel part of it all. The chef cranks out some delicious food, and staff and owners are all verygracious and kind. If you want to support live music and good people (and have a fantastic meal while you do it), then this isthe place to be. Read more
We wanted a place with outdoor seating in the sunshine. We found many tables under tents and a few tables to enjoy the afternoon... sunshine. The waitstaff is extremely friendly. The reason we keep going back is for the burgers and beer selection. The burgersare always yummy and they have a great sauce. Highly recommend. Read more
Very cool little place. We came for the music (which was excellent) and were impressed by the food. Was expecting bar food, not... even close. Tasty options including vegan. The meatloaf one of my friends had is awesome! My vegan friend was impressed withhis option. I had the schnitzel sliders, they were tasty and the side salad was beautiful! They were celebrating Sonny'sbirthday so having a special event, we had a blast. Incredibly diverse crowd, all ages, all races, all genders. Super coolplace! Read more

One our favorite live music experience, but tonight Chef Patrick went out of his way to make our special request available and... amazing 5 stars for service, Chef and the entire evening. A friend suggested meeting at the Blue Diamond, to hear Lisa Mann, who he had seen at another venue. Everything about my... experience was fun - the music, the sound system, the drinks, and unexpectedly, the food. I wasn't expecting good food at abar, but they delivered on both taste and value. And I'm very glad to have gotten to hear Lisa Mann - a bassist and singer whoreally knows her stuff. We were seated at a table fairly close to the entrance and consequently, not particularly near the bandor the dance floor - but sight lines were fine, and the sound was great. I've been to music events at other places where onceis enough for me, but I could see myself becoming a regular at the Blue Diamond. Read more
