Just your typical hipster, overpriced Portland restaurant. There is nothing Indian about this place. All the wait staff and... cooks in the kitchen are white (red flag!). As other reviews have mentioned, this place is extremely pricey for what you get ?small portions and no flavor. Go search for an authentic Indian restaurant but good luck finding one around here! Very good ambience, nice vibe and good service as well. However, the food options are limited and didn?t quite taste very good... either. Heard a lot of positive reviews for this place but was disappointed with the quality of the food. Here?s what we orderedand how we felt: Mango lassi - 4/5 Ginger lemonade (must try) - 5/5 Bhel Puri - 3/5 Vada pav - 5/5 Pav Bhaji - 3/5 Roti withchana - 3.5/5 Raitha - 4/5 Could?ve gone with a 3.5 rating but like I mentioned, the number of options were very limited and thetaste was ok, hence the 3! I had the pork vindaloo. Very good flavor and the meat was tender and delicious. The price was a little higher than I would have... expected, but I would come back to try one of the wraps I saw on other peoples' tables. They looked and smelledamazing. Service was friendly and was helpful with menu questions since it was our first time visiting. We were lucky enough tofind parking around the corner and came at 4:30 pm so there was no wait for seating or ordering. We sat on the outdoor patiowhich was open, airy, and welcoming. Pretty perfect place to grab some quick Indian street food. I think this is a newer location that we went to. They have some... nice quirky named cocktails with a Desi twist. We ordered Vada Pav, Pav bhaji and Kati rolls- all were really good. Please note:the Kati rolls are pretty big which are good for sharing. Read more
Another Authentic Indian restaurant with Excellent ambiance, nice place to hangout with friends and family. Must try their Pav... bhaji, vada pav and Okra fry. Grilled tikka bowl was okay. The only challenge here on a weekend is getting a parking spot. It?sroad side parking and fills up pretty fast. Read more
I had the best Pav bhaji and Kathi roll in the US here so far. I also ordered vegetable thali which was ok but better than other... restaurants in the Portland .
