Amazing beer, friendly and warm staff, handful of excellent vegetarian and vegan food options, great patio with heaters,... non-alcoholic options inclding na beer and kombucha, covered and dog friendly patio, and spacious interior with downstairs andgroup upstairs options!! At this day in age it?s hard to come by a bad burger at a place like this and Breakside is no exception. In fact this burger... was better than the rest. I ordered it with pepper jack and bacon and asked it to be cooked medium well. The flame broiledflavor was decedent. Worth mentioning a side of Buffalo sauce with the waffle fries and it was a perfect match for that burger. The menu is a bit limited so it?s a no brainer to do this one again. Btw. This is a top 5-10 PDX brewery in my humble opinionmostly because they?re usually very clean beers and I don?t recall having had a bad beer. Read more
After striking out at few places around Portland area we found Breakside Brewery. I ordered the Low Place amber ale and was... really yummy. We also ordered the Bavarian pretzel (these pretzels are making me THIRSTY!) and also very good. My dinner entrywas blackened chicken avocado sandwich and was delicious! Cool brewery and good beer! Of course we did a flight and enjoyed all the beers we tried here. It was a cool hip place to... hangout and enjoy a good couple of beers with family & friends. It is kid friendly as well so you can bring your littleones. For food we tried the drumsticks with their IPA Buffalo sauce which was really good. Also the Nachos come in a big portionsize which is sharable. They also have a good kids menu and we ordered the Mac & cheese. Overall great experience and evenbought some of their beer to go.
