I do not understand why people rated this place so high! We were up for a nice breakfast / lunch. This restaurant was not our... first choice but based on the good ratings, the menu and the pictures we were exited. Despite a queue we were able to get atable fairly quickly. Everyone was very friendly. But the most important thing - the food, was disappointing. Taste was missing, the sauce Hollandaise did not hold up to my expectation and did not taste at all like it's suppose to. The hash browns as wellas the red potatoes were slightly undercooked. The taste of the food in general was bland, I could not figure out what the ideaof the taste was meant to be. The black tea was very good though. The complementary beignets were tasty but also not quitedone. Read more

Quite pricey and extremely busy. We made a reservation in advance for 9 people. Service was efficient and accurate. However, our... server did not seem to have a way for us to split the bill, aside from "evenly" 9 ways or to put everything on one card. For aplace as big and busy as that, and to see that servers have mobile card readers, we should have been able to split that billextremely easily. That would be my biggest complaint. But the outdoor seating is wonderful and we had a great time overall. Thefood is not the best (for the love of God, add salt to the potatoes and eggs), but good, with some unique options. Drinks werefine. Read more

Brought our food out extremely fast. Tasted good. couldn't finish it all. Normally there is a long line and we usually don't go... here but today we got right in. I was skeptical about the food but it was on point. Friendly service. Seating felt stacked ontop of each other. They were friendly Read more

The staff was efficient and really nice, and the food was fabulous. I got French toast with lemon curd & blueberries on their... suggestion and it was perfection. I also got a pineapple rum drink which I highly recommend. Everything was really good, nothingfelt rushed but the wait was really minimal. Would definitely go again. Read more

Different. I enjoyed it. It was a busy restaurant on a downtown street in Portland. The line was long and I probably waited... about 30 minutes (I was alone). Then they tried to seat me with a woman who was alone … in one of the little cabanas outside! Those are totally private. They shut the door and you are completely alone in there. Honestly, a little weird. I politelydeclined. The cabanas are interesting and might be fun to eat in if you have a party of people. They’re basically like littleplastic sheds though … different and unique but not completely inviting. Anyway, I got to sit inside. The coffee was not verystrong and my omelette was so-so. Not really worth the long wait. The atmosphere was fun. The service was pretty good. Theambience was nice. But I probably won’t be taking people here in the future. Read more

I really enjoyed the food and the beverage. I ordered the eggs Benedict and added French toast as a side. Everything was cooked... to perfection. My friend ordered an omelette and loved it. The only negative was that we were sat in their outdoor dining butthey heaters weren’t working very well. It was cold from time to time. Read more

SOOOOOOO good!! Reservations highly suggested if you are looking to go on the weekend. Once we were seated our waitress was so... attentive, quick, and really nice. She had excellent recommendations. We were drooling over all the plates coming out —everything on the menu looked amazing Then we were served one beignets each (completely unexpected) still warm and incrediblydelicious !! I could have just ate a dozen of them for breakfast. Cheesy potatoes were def a huge hit — they were a tad onthe undercooked side and heavy on the pepper. Eggs Sardou was really good. I love the flavor the bed of spinach and artichoke— that being said it was a lot and made the English muffin super soggy. You will find a large chunk of artichoke holding theegg in place which seems cute and a playful spin but it’s not warm/at least mine was not — ranging from half in to one inchthick …. was a little much for me personally. Spent some scraping away a lot of the ingredients. About $30 per person withfood + drink. Would highly recommend for breakfast / brunch. Read more
