Chin’s Kitchen is awesome! All of the dishes that my wife and I ordered were cooked with fresh ingredients and had amazing... flavors. The Cabbage and Pork dumplings (A2) were my personal favorite. Each dumpling was just as good as the previous. Thefillings were tender and scrumptious. Probably the best I’ve ever eaten. My second favorite, The General Tso’s Chicken (F1),had a nice crunchy texture and a sweet, tangy flavor that fulfilled my expectations. This classic dish is one I’ve enjoyedmany times over the years and Chin’s version is easily notable - as are most of the dishes we tried. Lastly, the staff wasextremely courteous and friendly. They made us feel right at home. We’re from Orlando, Florida visiting Oregon for the firsttime. It was our understanding that the restaurant recently changed owners and is under new management. So, if you would, overlook the previous, bad reviews and definitely check this place out. Chin’s Kitchen is most certainly worth your time andmoney. Read more

I would love to rate this higher as the leek and pork dumplings with garlic sauce were phenomenal... But the orange chicken my... husband had was absolutely terrible. Despite eating as soon as we picked up the order, his chicken was rubbery and had spongysoggy coating, no crispiness at all, and the sauce tasted like watered down orange jelly. Get the dumplings if you go, butbeware the rest of the menu... Read more

Fast, friendly, filling, and still fully protected against covid -- what a great place! We had melt-in-your-mouth leek and... pork, as well as cabbage and pork, dumplings secured within 10 minutes. They were packed well enough that they survived a 30minute drive still warm, no spills, extra sauce still standing strong. Looking forward to going back for noodles. Read more

Last night was my first time at Chin's Kitchen. Their orange chicken was probably the best I've ever had, still crispy on the... outside yet moist and succulent chicken. Great orange sauce. I also tried the leek and pork dumplings. Delicious. Tonight Iplan to return and try the Mongolian beef and kung pao chicken. Can't wait. Read more

????I'm not from the Northeast, but this is the most homely restaurant I've ever eaten in Portland. Each dish was full of... authentic Northeast Chinese flavors, especially the braised beef with potatoes, northeast dalapi and pickled cabbage dumplings, which were no different from what I had eaten in northeast China restaurants. Must have five-star reviews, if can open dine ineven better ~ Read more

Authentic cuisine from Northeast China. They were very much like home-made dishes. No dinning-in recently, the on-go provided... lunch box containers wrapped in a paper bag. It was probably for environment protection. But the lunch boxes were plastic(anyway), where they were not covered well. All messy ways of leaking to ruin the paper bag as well as our car (as we were on atrip without staying in a hotel room). So be prepared, there was no place to park by the street, the paper bag could be aproblem, and hard to get a good picture :(. Read more

This place really has some great food. The "beef stewed & potatoes in casserole" is outstanding, as are their house made fresh... stir-fried noodle dishes. Their homemade dumplings are also on point. While I do miss the old late night American-style Chinesefood that used to come out of this building, the new owners have definitely improved this place. Read more
