We wanted to try something different so we stopped in for dinner on the patio. The decor and music definitely reflected a Middle... Eastern ambiance. Friendly service and the owner dropped by our table to chat. The food was nicely presented but we wished thefood was even more flavourful. Maybe the spices are toned down to appeal to more diners? Anyhow we had a good dining experienceand enjoyed our falafel platter and mixed kebabs. Read more

We had gone to Dar Salam many years ago and liked it. But then we totally forgot about it. Recently, we decided to try it again... and just loved it again! It was easy to get a reservation on the same day. The place is small but cozy. The lentil soup was oneof the best | have ever had- so comforting! The falafel and chicken Tikka plates and drinks were great too! The only thing wedidn't like that much was the pickled chickpea mango salad. It was a little too sour for our taste. Looking forward to comingmore often now. Read more

Had a great dining experience at DarSalam. The Tabouli is top notch, quite possibly my favorite. It has a nice amount of onions... and tomatoes. I had the falafel rice plate which came with chickpea stew. The chickpea stew was quite good. My partner had lambwhich he said excellent. The mint lemonade was also VERY REFRESHING. Thanks for a good time. Read more

I had a great dinner experience in this unique Iraqi restaurant. One of the best lamb-shank with tasty rice and eggplant stew.... It gives you Iraqi/Middle Eastern vibes and mood not just with food with the ambiance and the decoration of the restaurant aswell. Worth to try and enjoy the real taste and flavors. Yousef did a great job with greeting, hosting and providing anice&smiley customer service. Keep up the good work, guys! Shukran! Read more

Best lamb we've ever had; a perfectly portioned plate of ghanoush, rice, salad and meat. The food here is full of flavor in... every bite. The soup is delicious and hummus fresh. Excellent service, clean facility and beautiful ambiance. Read more

The lentil soup is a macerated version with a drizzle of perhaps olive oil and it is phenomenal. I also ordered the Iraqi shish... kabob plate…I love the Iraqi Kefta kabob…this tasted …different…almost like they repurposed hamburger meat…somethingis off. I loved the fresh squeezed mint lemonade with rose water. Read more
