I had high hopes for this place based on reviews but it wasn't good. We've been to India and have eaten at about 90 percent of... all the Indian restaurants in the Portland metro and unfortunately this is one of the worst ones we've tried. But hey try itfor yourself and if you like it we can agree to disagree. Update: my partner ordered it a few weeks ago. Started with a little disappointment since there was no dine-in, so we had to take out. But everything changed once I start... eating. The Biriyani was almost like Chennai Biriyani, unbelievably good. Not pricey for being located close to Portlanddowntown. If you are in downtown then you should definitely try this restaurant. I've had takeout from here bunch of times and absolutely LOVED their Hakka noodles (tried both veg, chicken and egg) and Chole... bhatura. Flavor is simply perfect and as authentic as you can get in the US. Looking forward to trying more of their items! Read more

OKAY! WOW! Dil Se Indian Cuisine, absolutely delicious. Did take out, the dine in is still unavailable. I did the chicken Tikka... Marcela (medium) and garlic Naan. Wow. Yumm. I am of Nepalese descent and I thoroughly enjoyed the past two times I came here. The samosa Chan a chaat was... fantastic. Not what I was expecting but it was a familiar, unexpected surprise. Chicken tikka masala was delightful. Thechicken wasn’t dry which is awesome. The eggplant curry is pretty good but just know that it’s essentially a peanut curry. Read more
Being from India, its very hard to find Indian restaurant food that satisfies our taste buds. For us, the bar for Indian food... is a little higher than other cuisines. Dil Se is one of the first Indian restaurants that brought us closer to home. The PaneerTikka Masala was absolutely delicious. So was the Fish curry. Both the fish and paneer were perfectly cooked. They only offertakeout for now. And we got ours before the scheduled time. The kids loved it too which rarely happens at our house. So kudos tothe team at Dil Se. Read more
