This is the most under the radar spot presently in Portland. If you know the lineage and talent of Patrick McKee then this... should be no surprise. This was the second visit that only reinforced the beauty and subtle developed flavors Patrick endowsinto his food. Well balanced, complex yet light and hearty at the same time that doesn't overwhelm and still makes you feelwell loved and comforted. Exactly as Chef McKee is, his food is. As always, Chef McKee has provided my wife and I another memorable dining experience! I mean, we ordered 3 of the 4 desserts,... and had a second serving of the Ricotta Doughnuts:) And that was after dinner! Seriously, the food they are crafting andcreating each night is well seasoned, properly proportioned and reasonably priced. The same as when we first tried his food atPerlot. When we tried to reserve a table and go back (for the Osso Bucco!), they had just closed the doors that day.
