A bit dated and dark but great fish & chips. More fries would have pushed me to 5 stars for quality and quantity.
For the usual fare of bar and pub food, the food is good at Gaffer's. The prices are very fair and the drinks are ordered and... served in a timely manner and at a very inexpensive price. For what they have to offer and what they are, it is a decent pub.The service is great and the gals are all very friendly. The decor could be upgraded, but that takes time and money. Read more
I am FURIOUS!! The food was great but I took in my laptop to get some work done (using my own WiFi). Even sat down below to be... out of the way from the bar. The OWNER had a server come ask me to leave because I was ?bothering other customers? and in theway. I was at a single table, by myself, with multiple other tables open all over the place. Used to eat here as a young child, back in the late 70s.. back then the portions were huge and moderately priced... Fast forward... to now and well just like anything else in this world less portion higher price just a sign of the times, y'all. It's allright... I've never been in here before, and you might assume from the shopping center that it's a super bare-bones type is restaurant,... but it's actually a clean, cute sit down spot with nice decor and fest service. I mostly just pick up sandwiches, but I've heardgood things about everything else! Read more
