I'm blown away that this place has such raving reviews. Maybe I just went here on one of their bad days? The people were nice... and the ingredients were fresh, but the burritos my fiance and I had were probably the most flavorless burritos I have ever hadin my life. And we both got different burritos. I actually wasn't even given the one I ordered, so there's that. I can say withconfidence that not one single ingredient on either of our burritos had any seasoning whatsoever. And honestly, I think that'swhy people like this place so much. So many Portlanders seem to love unseasoned, flavorless food. Certainly not myself. Read more

You have to get tacos, the corn tortillas are hand made and they are so so good! They?re soft and almost a little thick and the... absolute best! Their tacos are incredibly affordable too. Bonus if you like spicy things- they have a hot sauce that?s actuallyhot!!..and some that are mild for everyone else. This place is absolutely worth trying. Read more

Fantastic food and amazing prices. The sopes were mind blowing (carnitas sopes pictured). Their burritos are huge and delicious... and their tacos are tasty as well. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options so the whole crew can feast! Read more

Some of my favorite food in town period. Habit forming. Sometimes there is a little bit of a wait, but it?s 10000% worth it... and consistent. My go-to is the shrimp tacos. Their salsas are incredibly addictive. Obsessed with this spot. Read more

Amazing steak burrito. The crispy tortilla, the tender steak, the perfect rice, beans and tomatoes, it all comes together. This... is maybe the best burrito I?ve ever had in my life. Eddie is a delight and will help you pick out a salsa based on your tastepreferences. 10 stars out of 5, can?t wait to go back. Read more

The Spanish breakfast burrito with carnitas was a big mushy mess. Needs more egg and meat. The potatoes should be fried crispy... but were soft and white. The tortilla is great though and the overall flavor was good. Change the ratios and add some structuralintegrity. Read more

One word: Amazing! I ordered the namesake Habanero Burrito with lengua. The plate came with toasted stone-ground corn chips and... a delightful fresh tomato garlic salsa for dipping. Also a couple of creamy salsas (I selected the spicy habanero and the milderavocado) to dribble onto the burrito. I knew after the first bite that this place is quality! The meat was perfect: cookedtender but not greasy, nicely seasoned, and evenly distributed throughout. I usually prefer a whole beans in my burritos, butthe rich and creamy refried beans were a nice compliment to the other textures. The rice wasn't just filler like it is at someplaces; it was flavorful and cooked perfectly. The tastes all came together wonderfully, and everything was wrapped in a gentlytoasted tortilla that was just the right balance of flaky and tender. I could tell that all the ingredients were very fresh andthat everything was made with care. The attention to little details was very apparent. Plus the owner was very friendly. If Ilived in Portland, this would definitely be one of my regular spots! Read more
