The brunch here is great. It's in a retirement community so the amount of traffic is low meaning you can usually get in. The... staff is patient and kind with the food being phenomenal and at a great price. Highly recommend the Belgian Waffle with FriedChicken added on top. The waffle comes with freshly made jam, whip cream, and a heaping amount of syrup. Next time I'm going totry the ceasar salad with salmon on top. If you're in the Milwaukie area it's certainly worth checking out for yourself. Read more

We tried to dine here yesterday and it is closed due to covid. I would have considered going back when everything opens up... again but the receptionist at this retirement building was really off-putting leaving us with no desire to return. When wearrived we noticed it was tucked away in a building (retirement center) and there have been many restaurants with tricky ways toenter such as hotels and mezzanine lobby's so it didn't feel un-ordinary. We asked the lady at reception counter how to get tothe restaurant and she responded "I'm sorry, who are you?", we said "we just need to know how to get to the restaurant" with theresponse again "I'm sorry, who are you? Are you visiting a resident?" We responded saying "we are just interested in dining atthe restaurant" which she was finally able to break out of her pre- programmed responses saying that the dining room is closedto non-residents at this time and that it's also closed in general (no kitchens are open) due to covid. We wouldn't have beenat all annoyed if she would have just led with that. We understand why restaurants are closed and that many have yet to updatetheir system but her ingenuine non- compassionate responses definitely left a bad taste. Read more
