The bagels were a little harder than I prefer but they did taste very good. My 2 year old had a hard time taking bites of her... butter bagel because of how tough it was. Other than that the breakfast bagel and lox bagel we got were very good. Staff wasfriendly and they handled the high volume well. Their togo table was full of orders but they helped us fast. They were niceenough to cut our toddlers bagel into quarters and had an herbal tea they double checked was caffeine free per our request. Ialso love the portion size of their sides of cream cheese you can get for individual bagels. I feel like a lot of places giveyou a tiny side you almost need 2 of to cover the whole bagel, but they give you plenty. Great for cream cheese lovers. Read more

It kinda breaks my heart to only give 3 stars. But I really feel like the quality of their bagels has gone down quite a bit. My... last several bagels have been smaller and chewier than they used to be. I've been going to HH since they opened on Foster andloved them from the start. But now I prefer Speed Boat down the road. I even emailed them (politely) asking if something abouttheir recipes had changed. I wasn't snarky or anything, I just honestly wanted to know. Never got a response :( Read more

Their bagels are excellent! They made an extra effort so my child, who is allergic to eggs could eat there. They made sure his... bagel was kept away from eggs. The staff was kind and helpful. Read more

After living in NY? fell in love with Kosher delis and boiled bagels. Trader Joe's has off/on carried Bagels from the... tri-state area - but choices are limited to a few mainstream (plain, rasin, everything and a Pretzel bagel fromVermont). Henry's has the perfect tear, crunch an level of chewiness that one expects from an NYC boiled bagel. I've tried afew of the sandwiches as well. The real overlooked deal is the CC by the pound. Went in with a smile on my face. Left disappointed again. There are lots of bagel places to choose from with better food and... better service. Oh by the way. They only have a million 5 star reviews because they used to give you a discount for a 5 starreview. Lol. Read more

Not just your normal bagels! These are bagels from another dimension. Best in Portland! I love their lunch bagel options!... Especially the salmon or lox. The staff is friendly and mellow too. Coffee is great quality. Wasn't expecting how good itended up being. Their cups and cardboard sleeves are not quite strong enough though. Watch your hands! Bring in your own travelmug to protect your hands and the Earth. ???? Read more
