This place surprised me big time. Super modern bar. Very clean upscale design. With 2 bars same menu for both places. The high... ball was excellent. Only place with the high ball machine in Portland. And it did not disappoint. Such a refreshing drink. AlsoSharon is Karen a Cucumber vodka soda was such a great refreshing drink as well. We went for brunch and enjoyed it. You order everything in your phone and then they bring it to you. No one ever asked if we had... questions or anything throughout the meal, they just brought things. Never cleared our plates when we were done until we hadleft. The afternoon delight cocktail was tasty, not too sweet. The chilaqiiles were outstanding, the best part of theexperience. The Bizarro Jerry is well named. I’m more of a review-lurker than a review-giver, but I can’t NOT give this place five stars! I am officially obsessed with... Hey Love and I cannot WAIT to go back! I can count on one hand the number of times food has been so good it almost made me cry,and their Summer Noods has now made that list. The flavor was off. The. Charts. The salty oolong mango mai tai was anotherflavor explosion and the house gin and tonic was SO refreshing. We went at six pm on a Friday night, were seated almost rightaway, and our drinks and food came out super fast. I know some of these reviews say to go for the atmosphere and aesthetic(which is downright wonderful - the music selection, the plants, the artwork, everything was a perfectly curated vibe!) but thefood and service will not let you down!!! The service is not at all affected by the order-off-your-phone thing, and in my mindit actually probably made the service better! This awkward millennial is very grateful that I did not once have to flag myserver down if I wanted to order more food/drinks. This method is just genius. ???? I can imagine that in a post-pandemic worldwhere service jobs are getting more and more thankless, it makes their day more enjoyable too! And as an update, they’re nolonger checking vaccine cards at the door, although we had no problem with this requirement at all and had ours ready to go. I went here for the first time last night and was not disappointed! The bar is super cute with plants everywhere. You can order... from your phone which is very convenient, and our drinks came out so quickly despite them being busy. The drink and foodpresentation is on point, and they taste as good as they look. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu. :) Read more
Perfect spot for a date. They offer classic cocktails and drinks. I choose the old fashioned which their marker marks special... barrel whiskey and crab sliders. My friend order a salad and i m not sure if the feta cheese or dressing was over powering. ButIts a cool bar with limited seats. Read more
Easily one of my favorite bars in the Portland area, especially based on vibe. The ambiance is picturesque and trendy, while... also maintaining a romantic tone (thanks to the dim lighting). It's also technically a hotel bar, which most people don'tknow/realize since it's a relatively popular establishment on its own. Three things to note: - Their cocktails are allrelatively good however their mostly classic cocktails with a slight twist. Just wanted to mention this in case you are on thehunt for a cocktail menus full of new & unique flavor combinations. This isn't to say that they couldn't whip something else upfor you, but it's just worth noting in case you were hoping to see a ton of exotic drinks to choose from. - They've incorporatedmobile ordering, which means you can limit contact with servers if that's a concern/preference of yours. That said, they servers& staff are helpful and willing to answer any questions you might have about the menu - If you're planning a date night, I wouldstrongly suggest making a reservation so that you're locked in and don't have to risk a wait. The atmosphere and decor was beautiful! The staff was friendly as well. It’s close quarters and fast paced but I didn’t feel... rushed to leave. The low rating is simply because although the food wasn’t bad and had beautiful presentation, it lackedflavor. I got the shrimp & grits and there was little to no spices or flavor whatsoever. I asked for hot sauce and they only hadone option is it was more sweet than adding and element of savory. My brunch partner got the toast and he said that it was thesame deal.
