We came here for our wedding anniversary tonight and it was absolutely phenomenal. We started with mussels which were in an... amazing ginger plum sauce that was light and delicious. The entrees (pictured in this review) were also to die for, andeverything down to the food presentation was beyond my expectations. I got the Kakavia which I would highly recommend for anyonewho enjoys seafood, and my husband got the Yucatán-style pork stew that had very tender meat. We will definitely be back! Read more

Higgins is the original farm-to-table restaurant in Portland. The food is great! We come here every once in a while for special... occasions. The service is really good too, particularly if you measure by whether your water glass stays full. You will likelyneed a reservation, though you could get lucky and be seated without one. Wife and I decided to check out Higgins on a date night in Portland while here visiting family. We both enjoyed our meals,... including stuffed chili pepper, pumpkin bisque, pasta and Ling cod. Dessert was fantastic as well, consisting of a chocolatetort and a peach pavlova. Great service really helped to make it a wonderful experience all around! Read more
Loved the experience and food from beginning to end. Arrived to realize that I booked the wrong Saturday but they squeezed us in... thankfully.
