We had the Shu Mai, Tunip Cake, Chive & Shrimp Ball, Milk Pudding, and the Birds Nest (Seafood Crispy Noodles). For us, the... crispy noodles here are decent but we preferred the East Harbor one. The dim sum tasted much better than at any other Chineserestaurant, and the portions were a bit larger. It's used to give the impression of being a very crowded restaurant beforeCovid-19 , but nowadays you only have to wait a little to be seated even during lunchtime. So I would like to come back again. Read more

What a great opportunity to eat delicious dim sum with my family. Two of my favorite dim sum restaurants in Portland have... closed and I'm grateful that my friend recommended this great place. Shrimp with sugar cane, steamef pork and cabbage, and allthe rest that came by on the cart were hot, fresh and so what I was hoping for. Even the plum sesame balls where amazing (getseveral servings!). We waited about 40 minutes at 11:30 on a Sunday (party of 4) and were eating within minutes of being seated. I think we were lucky because where they sat us was on a main thoroughfare (bonus)! The cost was reasonable and we will forsure return soon! (Also, for the kids who aren't ready for dim sum, there's a Subway next door to get them fed while youwait) Thanks HK Cafe!! Read more

I personally had not had dim sum since back in Austin in the early 2000s, my wife had never had dim sum like this. It was... amazing! Even though it was very busy we were seated quickly and the staff was super friendly. The food was out of this world! This will become a regular stop for us when we go to Portland. Read more

Have nothing to do while waiting for food so I decided to write this review. Dimsum is good (some aren’t warm). We were seated... immediately after arrival while the store was super crowded. The first batches of food came out pretty fast as servers movedcarts around. However, it took a very long time for the second ones to come. Read more

A few of us came here for dim sum on the weekend. Expect to wait during prime time during lunch. The place is big even though... they have a decent sized waiting area. Most of us found the food to be disappointing. I was more so as I didn’t feel too goodafter having the steamed bean curd dish that seemed a bit off in taste. I have been spoiled having top notch dim sum fromVancouver Canada that this place didn’t make the cut to be rated average. Avoid the deep fried sesame seed ball and the otherdeep fried oval shaped dumpling. It was too hard to bite through. I was scared I was going to break my teeth. They would loadthe carts up with trays of the same food which were probably pre-made. I doubt I’ll be back. They’re located in a shoppingplaza near Dollar store. Read more

Food was great. Quality food is well worth the price. The Sesame buns are so yummy. Wheelchair access and parking. Large enough... place for groups to dine in. They were crazy busy with to go orders. The staff have their hands full, when dining in be ready torelax and enjoy the moment. It’s worth the wait. Read more
