I am traveling to Portland and visited Hobos with work colleagues early in the evening around 5. I was surprised at how empty... the place was, we were the only people in the non smoking area. Surrounding area is not so safe and one could see handful of homeless people loitering around. Not sure about safety aspects... though. Good ambience inside and nice staffs also. Read more
It's just the last standing gay restaurant left in Portland. A staple in the community. I have been coming here at least once a... week and trust me, it's not for the service, which can be lacking at times. It's for the atmosphere, the people and Jim playingthe piano. The food is really not bad. Not gourmet but not just bar food either. $5 burger Mondays. Daily specials. I justwish they came with a salad. Read more
