Great food, can get busy on the weekends. Worth the wait!

Really yummy Asian food. I say Asian and not Chinese because they serve food from various places in Asia: Vietnam, Thailand,... China and more. I always order their House Special Fried Rice with extra veggies (you have to ask). While a huge plate of friedrice sounds kinda boring, it's really quite flavorful - the veggies aren't overcooked and the meats are seasoned well. Verypleasant staff also. Read more

you won't be impressed when you walk in, and if you order what you always get / American (s&s chicken, gen tso, etc) it will be... good but nothing special. where they get the extra star are in their authentic dishes so get adventurous, take some Chinesefriends with you or experienced travel adventurers. when all else fails, ask for what is good in the kitchen today, thoughthey're hesitate to guess for you, in part due to huge variety of selections. My husband and I have loved this place since 2008, when we first moved to Portland. It has that no-nonsense, hole-in-the-wall... feel. The staff is warm, and kind, and they know their regulars. Even if it's been a year since we last visited, they know usand will all after our family is not everyone is present. They have the BEST lunch specials that include soup, and run throughthe weekends! My favorite dish is green bean chicken. They cool everything to perfection. Their hot and sour soup isvegetarian, so my husband can enjoy it and, even though you can order anything vegetarian, he had been getting the home stylebean curd religiously all this time.
