If you have the chance to visit Island Cafe, I highly recommend you do. We sat outside for dinner on the water and it was... fabulous! Had the shrimp cocktail and stuffed avocado for starters, the lobster wrap as an entree and finished it off with themost amazing key lime pie ever! The staff was absolutely top notch! I tried 3 different cocktails and I must say the black peralwas my favorite! Long Island ice tea with black cherry and maybe razzmatazz. Probably one of my favorite top 10! Read more

Just don?t. Drinks were strong but clearly made from sugary mixes. I was brought the wrong drink, it was remedied... quickly. Ceviche was so sad, half liquid, shrimp pieces and mostly onions. Tons of leftover chips. Kids left saying ?we?rehungry? because they refused the cardboard chicken strips and corn dogs. The ahi tuna salad was also so sad. The tuna was notseared or seasoned, I couldn?t cut it atop it?s bed of limp lettuce, four slices of tomato and cucumber and canned black olives.Asked for salad dressing twice and it never came. It was inedible so I sent the dish back, which I always feel bad doing. So? Ialso left hungry. Husband had the halibut fish tacos and said they were underwhelming and dry. Extra tartar sauce helped makethem go down easier. I don?t understand all these 5 star reviews!! This place is truly awful. Read more

We were out on a boat just cruising the river and ran across this hidden gem of a place that I didn't even know was here. Food... was great, drinks were strong, and the service was even better. I'd love to say I'll be back, but to get to it from where welive is an awfully long way because there's no entrance from the East, and you have to come in from I-5 at Jantzen Beach. Ifyou get a chance, you should definitely try this place... Read more

Great time at the Island Cafe! The service was excellent. The food was excellent! The beer was excellent! And the location... is awesome! I had the fish and chips. The Boss had the BBQ pork sandwich. Both were really really good. The added bonus isthat it?s dog friendly so Elvis had a good time too. Highly recommend. Read more

The Island Cafe is a fun and very pretty place to eat. It is on a pier right on the Columbia river. You can eat inside or... outside. We ate outside on the pier. It was nice watching the boats go by and looking at the pretty house boats across theriver. At one point a duck walked past us and some of the diners through him fries. Most of their food was really good, but Ihad the lobster and seafood wrap. It was not what I was expecting. I did not see or taste any lobster. It was like they made itin a blender. It tasted more like salt than anything else. I think it had more mayo than seafood. But my granddaughter had thechicken and it was a whole chicken breast and it was very good. So was the food that the others I was with had. Read more

Amazing, floating restaurant on Hayden Island with water and boat views. Their menu has a lot of variety with reasonable prices.... Staff are friendly and attentive. We split the ahi tuna sandwich with fries and lobster roll with curried macaroni salad, andleft full and happy. Definitely recommend! Read more
