I was high hopes for their Tofu burger. It was good, tofu was fried with what appears to be the batter for fried chicken. This... was the first time that I had something resembled fried chicken batter as I have never eaten a fried chicken. Tofu block was bigand I wished it was fried a tad bit longer as tofu?s center was warm but not piping hot. I choose the spicy one, and it wasspicy. I will try non spicy one next time. French fries were good, my husband had a burger and he loved it. They have full bar,while you order at the cashier when you walk in, but service staff will deliver your food. My only concern is if they are usingdifferent oil for frying tofu from fried chickens. But I will try not to think about that and continue to enjoy their foodagain. Read more
Where to start! I have been coming to Jojos since it was a food cart, and the restaurant is absolutely next level. What a... wonderful environment with insanely delightful staff. You can?t beat the service, and the location is super walkable, especiallyfor a nice weekend day. My boyfriend loves the spicy cheeseburger & I get the Mr. Onion chicken sandwich. Both rock! I have zero negative thoughts about Jojo. Drinks are delicious. The food is scrumptious. I would recommend a non vegan cheese... sauce for the loaded jojos as well. This location is loud so it can be difficult to have conversation with out repeatingyourself. I'm going back often! Read more
I was so excited to try the chicken sandwiches here for the first time, but I was bummed because the chicken sandwiches were... thighs meat and I was excepting chicken breast for the sandwiches since I didn?t order the thigh! We went on the opening day with expectation of long wait times for tables and food. The staff was sweet and patient in taking... orders and answering our questions. The food took about 25 mins (first day issues I think). We ordered from all vegan menu. Thespicy tofu burger was decent. The tofu popcorn lacked seasoning. The fries were a big portion even for a small order. Their jojosauce is not my favorite. The fries were too thick and hard to eat. Overall the vegan food needs some seasoning and bettersauces. So hyped they have a brick n mortar location in downtown now! I?ve been frequenting JoJos since they were a food truck outside... John?s Marketplace Powell and they might be the best fried chicken sandwich + JoJos in the city! Read more
