Great dining experience overall. I was staying at the Kimpton RiverPlace Hotel for a conference and decided to dine at the bar... for dinner. My server/bartender was friendly and attentive and the restaurant manager had excellent recommendations for maincourse and wine. I had the branzino dish which was amazing. The fish was flavorful, tender - and had some crispy bits towardsthe edges which were awesome. The sauce was a slightly sweet soy sauce and the rice was quite flavorful too. I paired my mealwith a delicious Pinot Gris from the area and had some fresh raw oysters for a savory dessert. I will be returning the next timeI'm in the Portland area! Read more

Great views! Tasty food. The appetizers were amazing, and the food was okay. The salmon was over cooked, but the fish and chips... were really spectacular Read more

Located within a hotel. The staff was very accomodating. The place has a very nice view and ambience. My friend and I all... ordered the salmon benedict, as the place literally has "fish" in its name. One of my friends requested for the salmon benedictto be vegan (asides from the salmon) and they were able to replace the eggs with mushrooms! Salmon Benedict came with perfectlyseasoned potatoes that weren't dry and a runny yolk. I thought the salmon would be cooked rather than cured (?), but it wasstill tasty! Serving size wise, I was full but definitely could eat more. Read more

This place is embarrassing. Actually shocked the lights stay on. Only people there so that should have been a good sign to get... out. Ordered oysters $4 each. Look at this. My pinky toe nail is bigger and I wear a size 9. The salad was 3 pieces of Romainlettuce drizzled with dressing and some cheese shavings. The fish and chips was 1 fish with cold fries. The drinks were goodand the view of the bridge was nice. Have called to actually ask the manager what they are thinking and they refuse to answerthe phone or even call back. Read more

This place is a joke!!! Wayyyy overpriced. The portions they serve for what they charge is ridiculous. How are they in business?... My cats pate has more food than the fish and chips I ordered. Save yourself the time and look for a different spot. They charge$4 for an ungrown oyster, they should throw it back in the water and let that thing grow. I’ll leave here a picture of my $26fish and chips. Read more

Let's start with the good first. The view was amazing. Loved it. Lights on the river and the bridge were beautiful. Very... romantic. It's why we chose the bar. It is a bar more than a restaurant. It was quiet when we came. Nice music playing. Parking was OK. People were friendly. Food was OK but expensive. Crab cakes were mushy. Hot tea was nicely done. Read more
