The waitress was super friendly and kind. The food was very disappointing though. The garlic bread that I ordered with the... mussels was the best part of the whole dinner. The mussels were good, but it's hard to go wrong with a garlicy, buttery sauceand bread. The rest of the food was a letdown. The gnocchi were way too sweet and just did not taste great. I did like that theywere homemade, but the flavors were just off. The whole braised branzino tasted good, but came with a mayo-based sauce and Iwould expect something better for $44. We did get a free glass of champagne on the house for our anniversary, which was verykind!! Overall not worth it though for the high price tag and not great food. Read more
Cute little space with great atmosphere and decoration. Staff incredibly friendly. Food is beyond amazing. We have been coming here for years and always loved it, but last nights meal was one of the best meals I’ve had at any... restaurant in years. The cocktail menu, Frites, pâté, asparagus, butter lettuce salad, moules, monkfish, all produceddelight. The delicious vegetarian gnocchi was not just an afterthought menu item either (you know, make something with mushroomsand call it done). It was the perfect place to show off Portland on my family’s last night in town. The outside seating iscovered and heated. A little touch of France from beginning to end. Read more

Delicious, unpretentious air, and great bar. What isn't to enjoy? Definitely recommend for dates, dinner with friends, or... special treats - although truthfully, I'd recommend it for anytime after the experience tonight.
