Food was really incredible. The corn pudding was suggested to us to try and we were blown away. Loved the fried chicken and... collared greens. The cheddar broccoli was so comforting - I felt like the 90's kid that I am. Service was really nice and youcan tell they have a good rapport with repeat customers. They were understaffed but right now, everywhere is, and they werereally nice about it. Hopefully people in general can be patient with small businesses like these! The moment you step into this restaurant you can tell the vibes are absolutely amazing. The staff are so sweet and so humble. ... The food is has such a unique taste it?s phenomenal. The taste of the food from the beginning to the end is amazing. There issomething magical about this place and I feel this is only the start of their successful embarkment. The vibe here starts with southern hospitality out the gate and having a family from down south that vibe was very homecoming. I... had the fried shrimp, dirty rice, and Mac and cheese. OMG!!! That shrimp was so good!!! The flavor was on point and definitelyhad that down south spices that will have you thinking you down south. The dirty rice was nice and fluffy with just the rightamount of spices and flavor. The Mac and cheese was aight. Something was missing from that. The endless mimosas was great. Willdefinitely be checking out their Sunday brunch. I was definitely impressed by this place and would definitely go back for thegreat quality taste and customer service with a southern hospitality. 9/9/2022 We, hubby and I, found this gem on google because i wanted some soul food, down home cooking and found it! Omg!... Catfish was off the chain per my husband! He loved it! I had the fried chicken, collard greens and mac and cheese. We shared thehush puppies! Everything was cooked fresh, hot and seasoned oh so well! The customer service was great! My wife and I went there today. My wife had the BLACKENED CHICKEN PASTA WITH ALFREDO SAUCE and I had the CAJUN SALMON PLATTER.... Absolutely sensational. This place is the definition of a family-run hole in the wall place. If you're looking for made from scratch Creole/Cajun food... then look no further! It feels like you are in your corner of Louisianan heaven. I got the Crawfish Étouffée. It reallysatisfied my crawfish craving. It was warm and had great flavor. I also had the Mac and cheese and the hush puppies. Both wereto die for. I will definitely be getting two sides of hushpuppies next time. I also got the hurricane Daiquiri which wasdelicious, not too sweet, but not too over powering in alcohol flavor. Incredible customer service. The staff makes you feelright at home. They were super friendly and checked up on us the ideal amount, not too much, but they made sure we were takencare of. Really good atmosphere.
