Is this a food cart or have I gone to heaven? ???????? This food cart is in the back alley of Someday, with various seating... options: tables for two-four and huge wooden picnic tables. The sunshade and decorative lights make a fun, calm space. Picturedis the Beyond Excited bowl. Everything about it is amazing: the presentation, the smell, the taste! Don't let these amazingentrees distract you from my regular. Every time I stop by I order atleast one SPAM MUSUBI. ???? The chef is a friendly, upbeatdude too. The prices are great! You can get your belly full for under $20. Grab a drink from the bar and soak in the fun. ?? Read more

Absolutely amazing food and service. I wish I could put into words how delicious everything was. My boyfriend and I didn?t speak... to each other for the first 5 minutes because we were savoring every bite. The man who took our order and made our food was asequally as amazing! I wish I had gotten his name. He was so kind and even went out of his way to surprise us with a bonus sauceto dip our fried cream cheese in (which I highly suggest you get). 11/10 recommend :) Read more

Awesome food cart tucked away from the noise of Division street! I grabbed lunch to go here a couple times this past week, and... was super impressed with the quality and amount of food as well as the customer service. First time around I got the SpiceSpice Baby bowl and Crispy Rice side. The Spice Spice Baby bowl was on the savory side and definitely spicy in a pleasant way,not an ?ow this hurts to eat? way. I wish I had known how big the Crispy Rice side was, it was super cheap considering the factit was basically a second meal! The food survived a 20 minute walk home in the rain and the Crispy Rice was still warm from thefryer by the time I sat down to eat. I had part of the Spice Spice Baby bowl for dinner later that evening and was pleased thatit held up well and didn?t get soggy in the time between meals. Second time around I got the Over The Rainbow bowl and PortlandPoppers. Same thing, the poppers were still warm by the time I walked home. The jalapeños were still a bit crunchy and thecream cheese was warm, the teri aioli was an excellent dipping sauce and added just the right amount of sweet to cut the spicy. When asked either salmon or tuna for the poppers, I asked for the dealer?s choice and got to have half and half, as well aslearning how they were seasoned differently, which I found interesting. The Over The Rainbow bowl was equally tasty. Nice bigchunks of fish, a hearty helping of krab and guac, rice cooked and seasoned well, this was definitely my favorite. The chefalso seemed genuinely friendly, he was kind enough to give my sibling a drink on the house the first time I went to get lunch, and the second time he remembered me and shared the tidbit of info about the poppers. He got all of the food prepped andpackaged extremely quickly too, I never waited more than 10 minutes for my food on either occasion. Even if the food wasn?t asgood as it was, I?d be back again just because you can tell he cares about what he does. All in all, this i Read more

Have you ever gotten a plate of sushi and wonder, why is this cut up into pieces? Why can?t I just eat this like a burrito? Well... your wishes have been answered at this food cart. Sushi rolls are served up in burrito sized pieces and are also available inpoke bowl style. Lots of excellent flavor combinations Ashe I highly recommend checking this place out. Important note, thisfood cart is accessed through a small alley off of division and can be easy to miss. Plenty of covered seating available. Read more

I ordered two sushi burritos, spam musubi, and shrimp tempura. The burritos were okay. Not bad, not amazing. When it was time to... unbox the tempura, I'm it's place was a piece of raw red meat wrapped in saran wrap. I looked over the menu again, there isnothing that offers red meat. So unless shrimp tempura is code for random.piece of raw meat, I don't think I got what Iordered. So.... I'm very befuddled as to why I have a box of mystery meat now. Read more

Sushi in the burrito fashion. Eat it with your hands just like a burrito only it is rice paper filled with delicious sushi. ... Three food carts tucked away in a back courtyard away from the noise of car traffic in its own little courtyard. The alleywayhas a really cool mural painted on one wall. Let's Roll is the only cart open before 5pm and everyday of the week. The MezzaAlley is only Wednesday through Sunday. Ruthie's pizza looked good I might try that next time, but that sushi roll was amazing.Being food carts they don't have a bathroom, but you could probably find one inside the brick and mortar buildings on eitherside. Very picturesque, great place for a date. Read more
