Hard to say anything bad about LL. Relaxed low key atmosphere A good selection of consistent, well made beers with none of... the over filtered mass produced feel of some beers. Hop bitterness where it should be. Maltiness and a good yeast character. Mostly good old fashioned pint glasses. Good outdoor space with both smoking and non smoking areas. Obviously dog friendly andnot masking hostile. Adequate onsite parking. Large reservable event room. Menu could be a bit larger but what they do offeris tasty and well made. Great spot to get a drink, and for chess lovers, people meet there every Monday!
Probably won?t be returning. Came with my dog, because this was supposed to be a dog friendly place. Was told that I couldn?t... bring my dog in, but could leash him up, in the sun, outside while I ordered and waited for my order. My dog is only 8.5 lbs andextremely friendly. Not only would I be worried for his health being outside in the sun, but also worried that he might be takenor hurt by a larger dog. This place should not be considered a dog friendly location anymore. Followup: First, this is a changefrom my past experience. Second, there are other restaurants and bars I have been to, in Multnomah County, that allowed dogs in.And third, how are people supposed to get to the outside patio without coming in, and if that's the case, then I would suggestthat you allow them in, and then take their order, rather than ask specifically ask them to leave their dog outside in the heat,alone.
