The old market pub ALWAYS hits the spot for me. I've been going since I was a kid and there are so many standout aspects to this... establishment. First, they brew many of their own drinks and while I haven't had all of them, their home-brewed cider and rootbeer (yes, root beer!) Are excellent. Second, the food is always great. It's surprising given the variety available on the menubut I'm not sure I've ever had a bad experience with the food here. And finally, the service is top notch. The wait staff isquick and attentive and they pay attention to details like asking for extra sauce or no ice or things like that. They alwaysearn their tips! Highly recommend if you're looking for a neighborhood joint to take friends, family, coworkers, dates, etc.They have something for everyone and you won't be disappointed. Would give 10/5 if I could. Really cool place with a large, covered outdoor space. It was really hot when we went but the patio had misters and fans so it... was very nice sitting outside. Decent tap list and the food was great. We both had a bbq chicken sandwich, beer battered friesand onion rings. All delicious. The spinach dip was amazing. Will definitely be back! Read more
We had an enjoyable meal here with our toddler. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a bowl of Chilli, potatoe tots... and the cod / fish tacos, all in all the food was quiet tasty. The Chilli was a little more liquidy than we were used to butthat may simply be the style here, and it was still quite yum. The staff provided colors and paper for our toddler which wasuseful, and the outside seating that we took was very pleasant. Overall a nice experience in a nice neighborhood. Read more
Used to recommend people for their pizza but last 2 visits have us changed our minds. We love their Todd pizza because they... "used to" add their beer into the dough and has a very soft pizza texture Since pandermic, we tried and it was lacking.Recently after their remodel of the restaurant, we wanted to try again as we were craving for it and was hugely disappointed.The crust was thin and hard. Old market pub is great. The new patio they built due to the pandemic is heated and has flat screen TVs facing outside from the... windows. The beer is good, not great, but pretty good, and the food is better than most brewpub places. Nice, big burgers. Theplace is huge, so it's good for groups. They also have a bunch of shuffleboard tables. This is also a good place to bring kids.I've been bringing my daughter here since she was only a couple months old and they are always accommodating. I love this place! It has been one of my go to neighbor places! They have made a great outdoor seating area with heaters in... the winter and fans in the summer. I love their gyro sandwich! The servers work really hard to keep everyone happy! My dogmay dine with me and they bring her a water bowl! Read more
Been here three times, and the last was enough to never come back. We sat for at least 30 min while 4-6 diff employees just... kept walking by our table like we didn?t exist. No water, no check in from a waitress, nothin. Finally I asked after watchingthree other tables get sat and get water. Even when we got a waitress, the service was horribly slow. I sent back a cucumbermartini because it was legit vile. I asked for a medium rare burger and got a well done hockey puck. Got some beer,gravelberry?, tasted like cherry cough medicine. The food was never worth writing home about, but yesterdays service was reallyjust a joke. The two folks who were food runners, at least tried. Do not waste your time or money on this joint. Read more
