Came here on a hungover Sunday afternoon after wandering Powell’s bookstore for an hour. It was 2 blocks away, and the outside... patio was booked full, but the indoor was empty. Beautiful bar area, which is where we sat. We ordered the Margherita pizza, which was $16 (we were told their spicy sausage $24 was their most popular), but we wanted something simple. All their pies areNeapolitan style, knife and fork recommended because there’s no undercarriage creating a huge pizza flop. But damn was itgood, I still folded it and ate it with my hand. If I was going off my “One Bite” scale, I’d give it a solid 7.9.There’s also a location in Oswego. Def more fancy pizza and you can see it by the price. Great taste though with their woodfired oven. Would def come here again if I was in the area. Read more

Love the pizza here. They make the thin crust wood fired pizza pretty well. We had the mushroom pizza, roasted beet salad. Taste... is excellent, Ambience is pretty cool, very friendly servers, and it's right in the heart of downtown. I did think the priceswere a bit pricey for the portions. All in all a great time we had here. Read more

I like this location a lot better than their Lake Oswego’s location. Plenty of seats both inside and outside. Pizza and... service was amazing. This time we tried their desserts too and it didn’t disappoint. Will be back for sure. Read more

This was a great place to eat pizza and grab some drinks. The restaurant layout is excellent and it's open with a long bar. The... inside is beautiful and the bar and bar backdrop really set the tone for the restaurant. We ordered the margarita pizza andadded prosciutto and arugula. They piled on the arugula which was great. We also ordered the Fettunta and some beers. The pizzatasted great, but our last two slices we noticed they were soggy in the middle. I don't know if that's from the sauce, but wedidn't notice it on the other slices. Maybe because we ate the other slices quicker, but they were soggy and kind of ruined therest of our pizza. The Fettunta bread had a really good flavor, but it may have been toasted a little too long. The drinks weregood and our waitress was really nice, friendly and helpful. The hostess was a little rude and she was training someone, butcould have showed a friendlier attitude towards customers. A very nice and clean place. Read more

Great salad and pizza. The salads here are so good and so are the pizza. Our server was very nice, but the kitchen was slow.... Overall, a nice place for wood fire pizza. Read more

Great neopolitan style pizza! Started with a fried risotto with mozzarella which was nice and crispy. We had the Margherita,... Mushroom, and Maple Pig pizza. The Margherita was a bit too saucy but delicious nonetheless. The maple pig was a nice balance ofsalty sweet. It is a bit of a fork and knife pizza. The sweet bacon was reminiscence of Chinese BBQ Pork. The mushroom was mypersonal favorite as a mushroom lover. The mushrooms was fragrant and tasty with a nice crispy crust. Read more

The pizza here is amazing! The crust is crispy filled with huge bubbles making it very light and enjoyable. The toppings are... high quality and the selection of pizzas and toppings are carefully chosen. The sit down at oven and shaker gives a calm, cozyand yet a little up scale vibe. It’s enjoyable to sit down, chat and catch-up with friends or family. I definitely recommend. Read more

Come to Oven and Shaker for awesome pizza and beer, the highlight of this charming wood fired pizzeria. Enjoy the ambience of... this wonderful bar and bistro. There is a great drink selection, thus the word “Shaker” in the name. The beer selection isalso excellent. I recommend the German style Pilsner as my favorite. However, the most popular beer is the Hazy Pale Ale whichhas flavor notes of grapefruit. The wood fired pizza is delicious. Ask for Lucy to be your server, and she will take amazingcare of you. Highly recommended when in downtown Portland! Read more
