Breakfast was really good. The GF pancakes were really tasty. The restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. It was a... little busy but, we didn't have to wait a long time for our food. The decorations inside were interesting. I didn't the thewater was super hot in the bathroom but, be careful they do have a sign saying water is hot. They probably have a booster forthe dishwasher if that is the case please take young children to wash hands as they could get hurt. Read more

All I can say is WOW. Huge portions and amazing food. I wish I could take the whole restaurant back to Indiana with me when I go... home. Probably the best bacon I've ever had in my lifetime. Everything was delicious. Vikki was amazing! She was so kind andfunny and she knew the menu which really helped us decide what we wanted considering we had never been here before. Thanks somuch for the great experience and memories. Their gift shop is so cute. Read more

Here's the thing: in other cities and in different circumstances, people would line up to eat here. Ever queue up for Matt's Big... Breakfast in Phoenix, eat there, and then wonder, "What the hell is going on? I got in a line for this?" Or Blue's Egg inMilwaukee and think, "Well, the monkeybread was awesome, but the 20 minute wait, not so much..." It's Breakfast. You want yourover easy egg done correctly, your waffle fluffy and hot, coffee refilled promptly, etc. These people execute Breakfastflawlessly. I love this place and, frankly, I'd prefer it not become too popular as I really like not having to wait. Read more

Let's start by saying my 3 stars isn't there to give the restaurant a bad mark, more to just firmly rank it in a category; chain... diners. On my last visit I heard one person say it was the best breakfast they have had in a long time. Good on them, but itmade me want to ask what were they eating for breakfast. There are plusses and minuses to every chain diner. Plusses here werethe quick seating, table was... clean(enough), food came out fast and the service was friendly and attentive. Minuses were thatyou found the same standard things you find at every Denny's, Shari's, Elmer's, Black Bear, etc. Rehydrated potatoes for hashbrowns that were only crisp on the outside. Hollandaise and gravy that had to come from a can. It definitely sits at the top ofthe heap of chain diners, but in the end, don't expect anything but basic, cost effective food. Read more

One of our favorite go to breakfast restaurants. Their breakfast food is always great and they have gluten-free options. Their... gluten-free pancakes are so good. You don?t even know how excited I was?. I can never find GF pancakes anywhere. The sandwichesare great too. This gluten-free BLT hit the spot. All the little pig statues around the restaurant and at the register are sucha cute touch too. Read more

The place is jam Packed. Our ????was fairly distant from others. Gravy was a bit runny, eggs were perfect. And actual honey.... Think KFC... the lip stick on the water glass during a pandemic was unexpected but no apology. Just a fresh glass. Read more

Pig N' Pancake is a little gem on 122nd Street in NE Portland. The food is straightforward with diner essentials for breakfast... and a few things thrown in for flair such as the sourdough pancakes and the Kielbasa skillet. The portions are satisfactory andthe service can be very good or just good depending on how busy they are. The prices are moderate and the pig motif is fun. Itis just a good all around place for breakfast, brunch or lunch. Read more

Fantastic gluten free pancakes! Tried the buttermilk stack and the Hawaiian with pineapple-orange sauce stack with fried eggs on... the side. Service was great, atmosphere was authentic retro charm and clean. #forfoodssakekc Read more
