I haven?t been to Pine State in years, but Alberta is definitely my favorite location due to having more parking and things to... do afterwards and prior. For those who haven?t been, you need to wait in line to order first before you sit down. It?s not afind a seat then order spot, but Alberta location has indoor and outdoor seating. We went on a Sunday afternoon and luckily hadplenty of seats and no line, but it picked up after we sat where the line wrapped around the corner. Typically I?ve gotten theReggie, but this time I got the hash which they said took extra time (and boy it was 30+ minutes of extra time). Luckily we hada Bloody Mary and other drinks to enjoy. The food was delicious, but not worth the wait. I would have defaulted back to theReggie if I knew how long. Pine State is where I learned about Aardvark sauce, but it?s been replaced by their own hot saucewhich had quite a kick, but delicious. A cool breakfast, brunch spot that?s hyped by name. Service and quality of food isgreat, but if you know me by now? time and price affect my tastebuds heavily. So if you?re the same, you may skip on this place. Read more

Eclectic in a real way. I should have gotten for an additional $9 the hash brown up. They looked really good. I did get the... Reggie plus. Messy but I ate with knife and fork. No problem. Solid taste. Bacon is the real deal and sausage grave was aboutperfect. The only knock was there was no cream or non-organic sweetener for my coffee. All organic sweeteners like stevia havesugar. But not enough to knock a star off. Read more

I was raised in the south so I know my way around a biscuit. My dad?s are the best. These might actually be second best ever.... They are tender, yet crisp on the outside. Not too big or too small, it?s the Goldilocks biscuit. I had egg andcheese?deliciously gooey but not too heavy?and my mate had peppery sausage gravy with his. They were dreamy and I think, almostperfect. Read more

Have you really been to Portland if you haven't had a biscuit? People here really like their biscuits and Pine State knows what... they're doing. This busy location has a fairly large outdoor seating area. Tried the chicken fried steak (fried up perfectly)and hash up with bacon, mushrooms and onions. Loved how crispy the hash browns were here. We wound up ordering some of theirbiscuits to go so we could bring them back home. Read more

Good brunch place. They have menu with a lot of breakfast and lunch items to choose from, focused on buttermilk biscuits and... sandwiches featuring this kind of bread. They have other sides to choose from as well, including fried macaroni and cheese, andcajun fries. Still, their biscuits are pretty standalone good. I ordered the biscuit with pulled pork and even though my foodwas simple, it all tasted wonderful. Creamy biscuits with juicy meat, didn't even need additional sauce for it to be awesome inmy book. It was well-packaged and came fairly quickly. In addition, prices here are actually quite reasonable. I woulddefinitely recommend this restaurant. Read more
