Pretty solid place! The staff was really friendly and helpful. Clean and had great tunes playing. Snagged the Angry Jalapeño... burger I think it was called? Also grabbed a side of curds. The burger is pretty big! A bunch of good flavors going on in there.Really liked the sauce. The only drawback and not the biggest deal was the temp of the patty, a little overdone for my personaltaste, but still tasted great. Got the curds to remind me of home and they did. We nearly always eat at Portland Burger when we are downtown. They do not have a bad burger and their fries and tots are the... Best! I have no idea what seasoning they use but they are by far better than anywhere else in town and a fav that keeps uscoming back. The specials are usually what we order so that we don?t miss out on a great burger. We also really appreciate thatthey put out a few tables in the street for those of us who often have the pups with us. Read more
Love this place. The ambience is great - love the music they play, awesome decor and wall papers / murals. Staff is also so very... friendly, easy going and so personable. I had the Magic man and it was quite tasty. Their fries have a good dash of salt andpepper. Overall, a perfect way to hang out and grab a yummy bite. Read more
I loved this place! They had a great special on a burger for only $8! It was amazing. My kids split a shake and they (the... employees) put it into two cups and put an Oreo in each shake! The shakes looked like a complete menu item and not like half ashake (if that makes any sense). We brought in coffees from Stumptown and I apologized for bringing drinks from the outside.They said it was no problem! They said it happens all the time and made us feel very comfortable drinking our coffees. Therewas a nice drink special ? an IPA pint and a shot of whiskey for $10! The decor was awesome (check the pictures). And thedoorman was awesome too. He was the brother of the owner. He told me that his sister started the Killer Burger chain but thenbranched off on their own. Cool. This is a killer burger joint ;) with amazing staff, eclectic decor (check out the drum lightsand the wall murals), great specials and really good burgers. Wow! These guys deserve the 5 stars. Spouse and I both agreed that our burger and brisket was the best we have ever had. It's... a burger joint so we were happy when my OG burger was delicious, but the combination of toppings really made it the best thatwe've had. What really floored us was the fact that even though this is a burger joint and not a BBQ smoke house, the brisketburger/sandwich was also the best brisket we've ever had. Fries and tater tots were also delicious and nicely seasoned. Theywere big burgers, and we were full by the end. We also got a raspberry chocolate shake which was not on the menu, but they madeit anyway. Prices were good for what you get. It was perfect! Decor was awesome and over the top with the rock theme and someamazing art murals. Drums as lights, concert lighting scaffolding, red spotlights, and a huge bar and table shaped like anelectric guitar. Staff were diligent in cleaning and it was also the first time we've seen staff also clean the individualcondiment bottles and everything else on the table. When that girl came over and asked how our meals were, we complimented herand she explained that it's a family run business and the brisket is a family recipe too. Next time we return, it will be toughsince we although we enjoy trying new things and don't order the same things twice, what we had was so amazing I'd love to havethe same thing again. Read more
Great decor & service. They had customized pictures & notes on all to go bag. Little loud, Parking can be tight but City parking... across. Got the burger for my kid. Meat cheese no vegetables and ketchup on side. Burger was cook med well. Fries were hot withgood amount of spice/flavor mix. Definitely will go again. Read more
I've driven by a few times. I couldn't help but check it out when I saw it on UberEATS during my "lazy day". EVERYTHING was... spectacular the burgers were flavorful and juicy and the fries perfectly seasoned. I saw the option to tip the kitchen staff andobliged. I then received the only acknowledgement I've ever gotten for tipping staff in the last six months they signed mydelivery bag. YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING. Will definitely be stopping by for a lunch with my coworkers just to get the fullexperience. 10 out of five stars. Read more
Hands down, best burgers in Portland and one of the nicest places! We came here the day before after looking for something just... basic, a basic burger. What we got was an awesome staff, amazing burgers (we got the minis and as a tubby girl that was plenty)with tots and cheese curds and damn, it's delicious! We went out today trying to find good pizza and there were a few letdownsthat we went to so we decided to come back to Portland Burgers because it was so good the first time!
