This is a very fun bar located in the 13th Avenue district. The atmosphere is very Eccentric and what you've come to love in... the Portland area. Lots of custom cocktails for the bar, the ones that I tried were very tasty and heard nothing but complimentsabout the others from the people in our party.Prices are pretty typical of what you would expect for this part of town.. Theyhave a nice indoor and outdoor seating area. Although. Although we did not order food there was some on the menu. A good watering he right in the heart of the Pearl district. It seems to hit just the right balance of upscale, without being... pretentious. Housed in an old Portland brick building, with an aged atmosphere you just can't emulate in a newer building. Amostly younger crowd, lots of girls in tight dresses, vying to be seen. We went to River Pig for a late breakfast. It is a classic dark bar, barstools surrounding the bar in the center, tables on the... periphery. Service was top notch, bar maid friendly and responsive. I ordered a breakfast burrito and my wife ordered the EggsBenedict. Her meal was excellent. Unfortunately, my breakfast burrito was completely burned on one side. I couldn't believe thecook would serve it like that. The burned side made the whole thing taste a little burnt. The bar maid was kind enough to notcharge us for the burrito without even asking her to. Overall a great place, just hope the cook takes a little more pride in hiscooking in the future Read more
