This place is absolute garbage. We came here a few months ago and I am still angry about it. First off it took forever to be... seated. There was plenty of seating, but the host just kept walking back and forth. We ordered this pea toast which was BURNTlike it was black. $10 for one single piece of toast. Next was the saffron shrimp risotto. This was a complete joke. It wascold...and it looked like a baby had vomited on the plate. IT WAS BAD. We also ordered the steak bites that came with morebutter on the plate than steak. It was bland and cold. Our check was over $80. This place took out PPP loans and they're addinga surcharge for staff health and wellness benefits? Honestly we left feeling like we had just gotten punked. It didn't feelreal. Honestly this place has become one of my favorite places to go to eat here in (west) Portland. Some of our favorite meals over... the last year were the squash risotto (last year late summer - seasonal), the steak frites, and the smoked pork sandwich. Irecommend this place to practically everyone, highly recommend. I don't think we have had a dish we didn't like. Great brunch menu and friendly service at RCC, big sheltered patio, one of our favorite brunch go-to restaurants. My hubby had... the smoked salmon hash (no potatoes, extra veg), extremely tasty. I had one biscuit and gravy with two eggs scrambled soft withcheese. Let me tell you this is the only restaurant where the chef understands scrambled soft? perfect! The biscuits are lightand the gravy is awesome, best in town. Add bottomless mimosas to that and you have the perfect brunch experience! ???????? Read more
I?ve lived in Tanasbourne area for 15+ years and today was my first time visiting Rock Creek Corner. And I?m disappointment in... myself for not coming here before and missing out on years of some of the BEST food and service I?ve ever had. Alyssa wasAMAZING, her recommendation were nothing less of spectacular. I ate things I would have normally not ordered, and I?m beyondsatisfied. This is my new favorite spot!! Read more

I met a couple of friends here for dinner around 5pm on a Thursday. There was ample parking in the lot and the location was... easy to find. The building is definitely a staple of the Rock Creek area. I grew up down the street and remember this place asa kid. It was a dive bar then but I can tell the new owners have fixed up the place quite a bit. The staff was super friendlywhen I entered and the service was top notch. They don't do reservations at this time so it is first come first serve. Also notethere is a 90min time limit per table to make sure customers get a seated in a timely fashion. I also noticed they werefollowing all Covid guidelines like masks, social distancing and cleaning procedures. We decided to sit inside the dining roomby the window to enjoy our meal. The menu is limited but the food is good. We ordered steak, chicken and salmon. Everythingwas very fresh and flavorful. I can tell they take their time sourcing local ingredients either from their garden outside orfrom the local market. They also had a decent selection of beer on tap and a few other drinks as well. Had a good brunch day, excellent place with pet friendly. They had great menu options, to choose from. The chicken and the bread... was excellent in taste, the veggie omelette and the fries were great too. Definitely coming back for more food options. Read more
