It was our 25th anniversary and never been to this place before. But we felt like we stood out. We had dressed up for the... occasion but people were dressed like it was mcdonalds. We were sat between a toddler and a infant..... no fun. Shrimpappetizers were good. Wedge salad also. But we had ordered 2 strawberry daqauri's and what we go was like grapefruit. We sent itback and got 2 new ones. Still not up to par, I guess because the bartender was in training. Steak was OK, 74.00 for a filet isexpensive. The mashed potatoes to me really tasted like instant. HOPE NOT! Not worth the 300.00. Should have gone to ringside. Read more
The dining experience at Ruth's Chris steakhouse was phenomenal! We started off with BBQ Shrimp as our appetizer, the sauce Was... exquisite. Followed by a Caesar salad ,as for the side dish we enjoyed the truffle lobster Mac n cheese and roastedBrusselsprouts. Our entrées were the Petite Fillet and Shrimp as well as the New York Steak, both cooked medium and toperfection! As for our drinks we had Lemon Drops, blueberry mojito, and a breakside brewery tall beer. Finally we had New YorkCheese cake for dessert. Our server James/Jim was friendly, outstanding, and very good at his job. Jeff the general managercame by to ask how things were going, again he was very friendly as was all of the staff. My wife and I recently celebrated 9 years together. I've had the pleasure of visiting two other locations in the south. So, when... my wife told me she had not had any experience with this restaurant. I knew it would be the perfect place. We were notdisappointed. We came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. This was not my first time to eat at Ruth’s Chris steak house, but this was... exactly the worst one. Bread-3/5 Sizzling crab cakes-3.5/5 *My order Ruth’s classics(meal): Lobster bisque-0/5 (almost leavewhole dish) 6oz filet with 3 large shrimp-4.5/5 Creamy spinach-3.5/5 Dessert(chef’s selection)-5/5 *My husband’sorder Ribeye-3/5 The service was just so-so. We returned almost all plate of lobster bisque, but our server didn’t askwhy.(This is unusual as my experience). I ordered my filet to cook medium, but it looks like medium-rare. My husband ordered hisribeye to cook medium-rare, but it looks like medium and it really tasted overcooked. We don’t know what’s wrong but theymight mess up our order. Although the guy who may be the manager told us they can exclude the soup from our bill, in the end thebill didn’t exclude any amounts. Not worth the price. Hospitality is a source of great pride for your company but I didn’tget it in Ruth’s Chris “Portland”. Read more
My only complaint was the wait time for the bar staff to turn over a table on a Tuesday night. When we arrived they had a table... available in the bar for us but it took almost 20 minutes for them to turn it over. Once seated though service was fast andfriendly and as always the food was mouthwatering and will be back! Read more
Service was nice, and went above and beyond. Atmosphere was nice but somehow I expected more. The food was ok for the price.... Called a head to ask for "a little extra something" for a birthday celebration and they were sweet enough to decorate the tablewith confetti and give my Love the best cheesecake we had ever had. I had the stuffed chicken and wasn't a fan, it was reallyover done and the sour cream they stuffed it with tasted like it turned. My Love had the Filet and it was SO GOOD. Overall itwas a nice experience but there are many other places to try in Portland so I think we'll pass on another visit. Read more
I didn't want to like this restaurant, but the porterhouse was really good. Our server senna or Shawna was on point. Brussels... were great, lobster Mac was ok. Would prefer not to have pendant lights aimed at our heads and only thing that would make itcooler is add dry aged cuts. Read more
