The chef being formerly of Bamboo Sushi shows - lots of spicy fish, not a lot of options otherwise. I personally do not care for... cream cheese in sushi so that eliminated the rest of the rolls. Overall, not bad, but not a return trip. Read more

This has got to be the worst sushi I’ve had yet in Portland! I can’t believe the quality of food we got was so low... especially given that they are located in one of the hippest and cool spots to eat drink and experience music here in NorthPortland. Where do I start in the utter disappointment? Well I’ll start with the week and a half old cucumber salad that wason the verge of expiration for soaking that long in vinegar..and then there was the chewy and over salted salmon skin rollthat tasted disgusting and not fresh fried. Then to cap off the whole experience we ordered 4 rolls and two Appetizers for 4people and got the smallest portion of wasabi and two chopsticks with no napkins. Suckiest sushi joint ever In Portland in myopinion.. I sincerely hope they go out of business soon! Don’t waste your time or precious earned money here. There are numerous and well priced sushi restaurants in this area that are far superior in quality and freshness and well worth theexploring. Read more

I was a bit thrown by the ordering method, but the food and service brought me back. Full of flavor and high quality sustenance.... Drinks were strong and tasty. The spicy garlic edamame was a first for me and it was beautiful. Plating was eye catching andpaired with my beautiful wife to keep me company and share, it was a very satisfying experience. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The food was pretty good, and the sushi list was long and had many combinations I had... never seen before. I love that they had two different rolls that featured mango. The ramen was fairly good, and was a bighelping. Read more

Retro-chic sushi joint set in a converted industrial garage. The full bar was well stocked with a wide variety of libations for... every palate. The spicy edamame was a good way to start the meal. The 3 rolls of sushi we ordered were fresh and delicious. Theywere larger than expected thus really filling. Read more
