The food at the waffle window is cooked well and they have great combinations to choose from. From sweet waffles to savory... waffles the taste was delicious! The basil blackberry and lemonade was very tasty and refreshing, being mocha coffee that mywife got however did not impress her. Read more
It was okay... I love that they have vegan gluten free waffles. They also have vegan sausage and that was awesome (price was a... bit high...) Unfortunately I found the flavor and character of the savory waffle underwhelming. It was dry and did not haveenough toppings. On the other hand the sweet waffles were loaded to the max. A little too sweet for me, but everyone elseenjoyed them. I wish they would balance things a little better. Read more
I enjoyed the food but to be honest it was way too overpriced for what we received; it was good but for a little over $50 I... expected it to have been amazing or A TON more good food. We ordered 2 Full Chicken & Waffles plates and 2 lemonades and itcame with 2 pieces of breaded boneless chicken patties and 2 waffles each. The waffles were good and the chicken was okay buthonestly would have expected more, like more flavor and like a crispy chicken skin with lots of flavors coming through tocompliment the sweeter waffle cause that's what I think of when I think of a good chicken and waffles plate. I don't want to bemean by leaving 3 stars but it was Just "okay" to me. Read more
This place is absolutely delicious. Not exactly expensive, but I think it's worth it. Really delicious waffles with a dense,... sweet texture. We were very lucky in that the weather was with us that morning so that we could sit at their sidewalk tables. Next time we are in town, I'm sure we'll be back. Read more
Delicious! Never disappoints! Took my sister, nephew and sons to pick up lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were able to shop... while waiting for our order. Everyone was so pleased. We ordered a Nutella Banana waffle, a Strawberry and Lemon Curd waffle, 3chocolate strawberry waffles, can?t remember what my two sons ordered from the savory menu but there wasn?t a crumb left. Consistency is the name of this place. Im from the east coast and every time I visit Portland I HAVE to go to Waffle Window.... Definitely a must visit when in town. Weather was too cold and wet, so orders were taken inside the Bread & Ink Cafe restaurant ???? *Darkest Desire* ???? Chocolate... Shell & Strawberry *Cheesecake* ???? waffles (pictured). DELICIOUS (though rich!) and calm seating atmosphere. Perfect idea fora date after a movie at the Bagdad. Out of the cold, enjoying a sweet treat. Liege waffles are amazing- sweet or savory ones.
