I really REALLY wanted to love this place. There's really a difference in expectations vs reality here. We ordered ahead of... time, arrived early and waited in line for them to open. We did everything possible to get the freshest product. However, everything was just not fresh feeling, looking, or tasting. We drove an hour back home after eating in the parking lot and won'tbe back. It's just nothing special, especially for the price. I took a bite out of each sando 10 yards from the cart and ittasted day-old. Read more

Tokyo Curry Pan Sando was excellent. Crispy fried exterior, soft bread inside and a thick flavorful curry surrounding a soft... boiled egg. best sando I've had in Portland and completely blows away anything you'd find at Tanaka. this place is a must visit. Read more

So delicious, fresh, and filling. I had the pork miso Katsu and flavours were amazing. I just found the pork slightly dry and... tough. However, very friendly service and I want to go back and try all the other sandwiches!! Read more

Wow, delicious pork katsu sandwich. Person who took my order (I think it was the owner) was so friendly and sweet. If any of the... flavors on the menu sound good, you gotta try it. They execute very well. Can’t wait to come back. Read more

We love this food truck for the delicious sandwiches that remind us of our time in Tokyo... they're authentic, delicious,... consistent, and 5-star quality. Plus, the people who run it are so, so kind and wonderful. The short interactions with themalways brighten my day. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. They don't always have a daily special, but make sure toask for it! This food truck is always on the list when we have friends visit Portland. Read more

Absolutely delicious! The chicken katsu is juicy yet krispy, the bread is soft and spongey, the sauces are tangy and delicious.... I've been waiting for this cart to reopen for a while and it didn't disappoint! I tried the Miso Katsu sandwich and it was a10/10. Read more

Never disappointed by the quality and consistency of tastes here! Don’t be deceived by it’s food truck appearance (and... don’t be judgmental either!) as it provides authentic egg sando’s and even the chef’s personal spins on the tastes ofJapanese influence. The pricing is fair in my opinion for the portion and tastes you get; they’re DElicious! I recommend goingearly to nab the classics and buying at least two to share; spread the love. A great place to stop by to pick up a snack or afun visit for a group. There’s currently no seating, standing room only outside and beware to eat delicately! Read more

Great sandwiches! I am not sure if there was a place to ask for it online, but the sandwiches need way more sauce to be really... good. They run out of stuff too, so come early! Super friendly people running the truck as well! Read more
