Just stopped in to have a couple of beers after my visit to the metro station at pioneer square. Had two beers the only problem... is they do not have the draft beer that I like to drink so I settled for something else and it was just as good. Needed a place to eat with no wait on a Sunday lunch hour. Virginia Cafe was within walking distance. Small place with a... friendly bartender, and standard pub fair, mostly sandwiches and burgers. Most amazing Reuben I've had in a long time - nopictures because I devoured it immediately. Read more
Dependable pub grub at excellent prices. The breakfast sandwich is the best I've ever had and it's served all day. The cheese... burger is excellent. Very dark at night. Order at the bar. I loved this place. From the dark feel with the wood paneling -to the hand written notes of customers who have been enjoying... Cheryl's home made food since they were kids. We had a cheeseburger. It was hand pressed, juicy, and had the perfect amount ofspecial sauce. I wish I had tried the fries because the tots were perfect I can only imagine they do the fries right too! Thelady behind the bar was friendly and exactly how I would imagine a tender of this gem to be. My lady wears lipstick andapparently in the restroom they have a lipstick napkin contest!
