If there was a zero star option, I think many of us would select it. In all my years of bar tending, booking shows, managing,... and being a bar patron I?ve never encountered such a petty group of staff who don?t have the courage to be strait forward andhonest, or even pretend too be polite. Rather they run and get one of the rudest managers/staff I?ve ever dealt with who has noshame and will lie strait to your face. False accusations, neglecting those who are being victimized, without any integrity isnot what any restauranteur should ever strive for. Please don?t go here alone as a woman. If you?re in a group of 3+ you are more likely to be safe but please be aware of your... surroundings & do not expect the people who work here to have your back in a scary situation. Please please be careful. THIS ISAN UNSAFE SPACE FOR ANYONE WHO IS NOT A WHITE MALE. Their sister bar The Greek is the same. I can elaborate with further detailsbut feel the point has been made. Worst place ever!! We literally went with friends, had just ate at Stanford?s, and went to play video poker? had gotten bonus... twice in a row and yelled out of excitement which resulted in us getting cut off after 1 drink due to ?being too loud? howeverour friends right outside the room did not hear us? we are naturally happy ladies, super excited to get the bonus and feltembarrassed and horrified! Worst place ever, how embarrassing, do not go! If anything we should be worried about our cards beingrung up at such a dive /sketch bar! Been coming here for a while with Friends and this Bar never disappoints. Its a Great place to unwind and play some pool.... Bartenders are all welcoming and friendly. They all know how to serve up some delicious tasting drinks. Read more
Place cuts you off when you have 4 drinks in 2 hours, regardless of their perceived levels of inebriation, then gives you a hard... time when trying to close out. Seems pretty dubious. Asked for a pen to close out my tab, because they forgot to give me one,and kinda chuckled to myself at the irony of having to remind them to give me a pen to leave a tip while being forced to closeout after 4 drinks in 2 hours. Bartender got super hostile and made a scene. I hadn't said a word, and didn't really understandwhat I'd done to offend him. Guess he saw me sorta chuckling. Either way, super unprofessional. Was perfectly okay with leavingif thats the rule. Didn't need to say anything about it until the bartender started yelling. Unprofessional. Read more
