Stopped by White Elephant and picked up a light snack of Waterfall Beef (Lao jerky), coconut shrimp, and a thirst-quenching... Thaiger Woods, which is a blend of lemonade and Thai iced tea. Perfect for a hot day! Everything hit the spot. ???? Read more

WE catered our wedding and I can't say enough about how amazing they were! Not only was the food delicious, but the presentation... was beautiful! Jen was so easy to work with from our initial tasting to the wedding day. She and her whole staff are kind andgood people. You can tell they love what they do and they do it with such care and pride! Jen's also got your back -- they setaside a tray of chicken wings for me which was such a nice surprise at the end of a long wedding day! My husband and I alsostop by their food truck when we're in the neighborhood for some Pho'rench Dips and we highly recommend those! Thank you formaking our wedding day so amazing!! Read more

I wanted to like this food. It looked appetizing at first. Unfortunately, it was pretty much inedible and/or poorly made. I live... in Portland and this was my first time trying this place. It's by far the worst food I've ever had in Portland. Let me explain. The sticky rice came in a Ziploc bag and was not even edible (see photos). It stuck to everything, even the box. I would havehad to eat the whole ball in one bite but i didn't want to do that because it was flavorless. Just add sauce then? Well, thesauces tasted like regular grocery store bottled sauce.... Nothing exciting. It gets worse with the meatballs? I had to doublecheck the menu when i got home to make sure it said "beef meatballs". I have never seen any meatball (not even a frozen one)that looked and tasted like this. It was hard to cut with a serrated knife!! The taste was not even identifiable. They weretough, spongy and not edible. The fried dough balls were nothing special and to add insult to an already horrible meal, thepowdered? sugar was in rock hard clumps. The sugar was so hard I couldn't even crush it between my fingers. I ate the potstickers but I could have bought frozen food and saved 30 bucks. If you're visiting Portland, take my advice and eat somewhere(anywhere) else. Read more

Great Laotian/Thai cuisine. The food court here is very busy on weekends and sunny days. Food is great nonetheless.

I originally was going to go to Matt's BBQ next to this truck, but; they had sold out. Thank goodness! This place is wonderful!... Some of the most flavorful food cart food I've ever eaten; She could only get better in a permanent location. The lemongrassThai peanut sauce on the chicken was transcending... It has so much flavor. Simply delicious. The Laotian beef jerky was alsovery good. Deep Asian fusion flavors of garlic and fish sauce with a bit of heat on the back note. The coconut shrimp were good, but I did not care for the remulade dipping sauce. I felt it over garliced and took away from the shrimp. I give everything a 9in total. I'll definitely be back. A solid place to get some Lao/Thai style food. They have many good things here that it's hard to decide what to get. This time... we went with a classic - waterfall beef, which was delicious. Read more
