Located in the French Quarter food pods, Yoshi Sushi will most likely meet your expectations for finely prepared sushi. Important - call to order your food in advance (they sell out!)
Yoshi is a wonderful, and humble guy who makes amazing sushi. His dedication to sushi shows in his food. I haven?t tried better sushi anywhere else because other places don?t sell real sushi, no offense.
For less than $25, you can get the best sushi in Portland ... from a truck. Yoshi's, located in a food truck pod in Multnomah Village (SW Portland), is truly excellent. This trip I ordered albacore sashimi, the spicy tuna roll, and sea scallop. All were wonderful, and I would order each again, though the scallop is particularly great. Make sure you order ahead of time (10 AM!) for lunch or dinner. And be punctual for your pickup.
Wow, what a gem in the heart of Multnomah Village! Yoshi produces some of the best sushi my husband and I have ever had. Yoshi's hospitality matches the food and we always look forward to picking up our order. We can't recommend Yoshi's Sushi enough!
I had heard about Yoshi?s Sushi but hadn?t had the chance to try it. Go, NOW. I called ahead to order as required and the man working was apologetic with the 25-minute wait. I actually thought it was going to be much longer since it?s literally a single person in a food cart working, and after eating these rolls, would happily wait twice as long. I had the Lime Green add Salmon, Spicy Tuna, and the Salmon Avocado rolls. I got a little greedy and three rolls was more than I could handle for dinner, but I finished it off as a midnight snack. It was amazing. I loved that my salmon was a natural pink; not this weird dyed farmed salmon color. The rice was perfectly seasoned and cooked. Whatever the vinaigrette on the Lime-Green roll was, was so good. Multnomah Village is fortunate to have such a treasure!
I visited Portland for the first time and had to try Yoshi?s after seeing him on the Munchies video. He was so nice and friendly to talk to and the sushi was amazing! I will definitely come back if I go back to Oregon.
Delicious and unique sushi. We found this place via an Eater video and thought we'd try it on our Oregon vacation. Called ahead and got a special roll with curry shrimp tempura and spicy salmon, a salmon and avocado and scallop nigiri. All were amazing and fresh!
Delicious sushi, perfectly portioned, delicious even without soy sauce. Fish was very fresh, no fishy smell. Tamago was smaller than expected, half had rice and seaweed the other half was just the sweet yummy egg.
Foodies ahoy! At Yoshi's Sushi we provide an amazing culinary experience in Portland. Our experienced chefs have worked hard to bring you amazing food.
