Ordered two pizza a meat specialty pizza and a Canadian bacon and pineapple pizza. They looked good but were cold, room... temperature pizzas.Had to come home with our take out order and put in oven for 15 minutes to heat them up. When I informedmanager I got told the table they had them on was a heating table but it was a plain metal table my son said it was not the heating rack because that has two levels. No apology or offer to remake them. Manager just said they were on a place to keepthem warm. Read more

Working at Exxon, ordered from Portland Papa John's and never got my pizza. When I called after waiting 25 minutes at the gate,... the manager informed me the driver waited 20 minutes and tried calling me. He then said it was too late to get my pizza. I askedthe guard at the gate if he saw Papa John's delivery vehicle , he informed me he had not. Fortunately Dominoes pizza wassympathetic to my situation and delivered a pizza to me even though it was late at night. Read more
Everytime I order from this place I get good service and I have a difficult apartment to find.l which they find easy every time.... One time, the poor guy got a flat and still delivered my pizza in a timely fashion still hot and I tipped before hand on theapp but I just regret that I didn?t have the cash on me to tip him what he deserved. I would leave zero if I could. I ordered a pizza and the time was 1 hour. Little long but no prob. So 1 1/2hours go by and I get... a message that its on its way. I live .03 miles away mind u. So 25 minutes later I call and they tell me it just left. I askedthem to just cancel the order and the guy hung up on me. Called pizza hut and they were here in 20 mins. I normally love Papa John's pizza but the service I received the last time I ordered here was awful, I felt compelled to write a... review, and I never write reviews. I made an online order and waited until the last approximate deliver time, and then I waitedanother ten minutes after that. By then it had been almost an hour since I placed my order so I called the store to see if mypizza was on its way. The lady who answered put me on hold for like 5 minutes and when she finally got back to me I asked whenmy pizza would be delivered. She went to look for my order and couldn't find it, she asked if I got the confirmation email, Isaid yes and asked if she wanted my order number, then she asked if I put Portland, Oregon instead of Portland, TX ? Yes, ofcourse I did. Then she finally found my order and told me it would be there in another 15 minutes, really? You would think thatafter an hour of waiting they would try to get it to me sooner than that, or at least offer an apology or some sort ofexplanation as to why it's taking so long, or maybe a discount even. Nope, nothing. My guess was that they never made my pizzato begin with especially since she had trouble finding my order, so I just cancelled it. I wasn't about to pay them for theirbad service. I'm glad I chose the pay at the door option instead of pay online. I even sent an email to their corporate websitea couple of weeks ago, and they never responded. Go figure. Had to give 1 star in order to rate. I ordered pizzas a 100.00 worth, and two of the pizzas were messed up the toppings were... swapped around when I inspected them at pick up and I politely said that two of them were incorrect and I was told that was theway I ordered them by a very young manager(it was 6:30pm)i think he had only been there a little while as high school hadprobably only been dismissed a few hours prior!! I know who eats what and I would not have ordered them that way as I am one ofThe Who?s so the very young manager wanted to argue with me about it instead of maybe working something out. So instead PapaJohn?s in Portland Texas took a loss as I will never order from them any longer and no this is not the first time I have hadissues with this particular place. I will also encourage friends,family and anyone thinking about ordering from this particularone to go elsewhere. There are 5 other Papa John?s in Corpus yes it?s a little bit of a drive but when that is your favoritepizza you will drive a bit!! Also there are other places, Pizza Hut, Domino?s and so forth!!
